Lol, troll post is troll. I'm not in Azura's Star because I actually want to use the CP I gained. As far as I'm concerned, AZ is full of pansies that can't stand the fact that someone who put in more time and/or effort into gaining an advantage beat them.

Sounds a lot like someone felt they needed CP to carry them through PvP.

You do realise most of the long time players including myself have invested millions into 2/3 gear sets each for our 5-8 toons with the CP factored in right?

Try running a stamDK with 5/5 hundings and 3/3 agility with SNB/2H or 2H/bow with all your enchants as stamina and all your jewellery as weapon damage with no CP. You will have around 500 stam regen. Which means your ass will get handed to you......

To play in Azura's I would need to re-enchant or re-craft an exclusive gear set that takes into account my lack of CP for regen/mitigation and completely backtrack my build. I did have sets that would have fullfilled this role around a year back when I had 100 CP. But I deconned/re-enchanted/re-crafted all of them to account for the fact that I now have 500 CP. Why the heck would I spend millions again just to go back to the old gear.......when I can just go to haderus/TF and now fight people who have similar CP to me + all the waah wahh I have no CP whiners are now going to Azura's. Now I call this a win-win. All the low CP newbies are in azura's and essentially almost everyone in had/TF has upwards of 300 CP. We can all have our balance.

This is the problem with the game everyone should just stack into dmg and leave CP up to sustain with no drawbacks. Which is un healthy for the game.

You are right though about the gear without cp you SHOULD get owned if you spec into full dmg your sustain should suck hence the term glass cannon. Mages in fantasy games (not just sorcs in this game) are suppose to be VERY squishy but the trade off is they can melt some ones face off but thats not the case in this game.

I would advise all of you to at least tryout the no CP campaign as it pretty enjoyable. And allows for more build diversty instead of following the META.

Those claiming that you work 'hard' for your CP well you did, but you also made the game soo easy for yourself that a 6 year old can play it. Think about it PVE is SO easy with CP that you can play in your UNDERWARE and do just fine.

Just remember when this game DIDN'T have CP you needed good resource sustain, now adays you just mash your face in the keyboard/controller and hope to win with no draw backs.

Bias poll or not, I do agree with the OP and enjoy Azura's star much more than I do CP campaigns because CP campaigns are filled with nothing but Proxy Det/Lotus Fan/Soul Tether/Sap essence/Vicious curse for an almost unavoidable death regardless if you are in a zerg, small group or solo; it takes 0 effort or skill to do that. Without CP, that combo hits like a wet noodle (mostly) and so does every other annoying spammable move. There's actually skill involved because you have to be mindful of your resources whereas in a CP campaign, CP makes up a lot of your resource management and you can just build for flat out damage. You can still build for damage in no CP campaigns but if you fail to kill someone immediately and run out of resources, you're screwed so there's at least some level of build variety and that's always nice to have. I also don't have to deal with as much lag either so even more of a bonus.

It's a nice place to be overall. People will disagree ofc because they love their CP too much but honestly, even though I'm capped on CP, I have much more fun without them.

All I can say is its a much more level playing field, at only 314 cp I can't go into any other campaign and have fun. So azuras is perfect for me, thank you zos.

Oh and to all the people on forums constantly xomplaing about lag, shut the f*** up and hop in azuras if your really that mad about it.

CP didn't make this game easy. The game was easy far before it. Bring back the difficulty just after launch (for PvE at least). New dungeons like vWGT and vICP are generically hard (creatures have higher health pools and do greater damage). But as for Azura's, people don't want to spend months (or years in my case) climbing CP totals just to have them removed to bring back a time before they existed. As someone else pointed out, it's not just the CP, it's the gear. The game went in the direction of new gear and extreme damage dealing builds. Don't blame the players for just moving along with it.

Because my guild is in another Campaign, however I don't care to PvP at all since all I do is sneak around trying not to get caught and or die every two minutes cause these "Pro Players" think it's great to spawn camp.

Firing my Balista from the spawn city's walls at an AD player using the Sitting in a Chair emote like he's being served an appetizer gets old, VERY fast.

Azura is my home campaign.... and lately... I log in, see everything is yellow (again) while there are 2 or 3 bars of AD players (doing what, I don't know) and 1 bar DC and EP. No action anywhere, because weeks of experience has shown that IF a group of 10 players tries to take a resource, every single bored AD player will descend to take that resource back, immediately.

Azura is good fun in the late afternoon and early evening when the populations are slightly more balanced. If you are DC or EP and own a keep, it is also very fast and easy AP :)

For most of the day, however.... after having assessed the status of the campaign, I very reluctantly enter the lag-fest that is TrueFlame - zergy it might be, but there is action. Night-capping is completely destroying Azura, sadly.

Edit: I don't know where you are finding 20v20 battles, to be honest. My experience is more along the lines of 20 v an endless-stream of AD. In one attempt to defend Glademist I had 26 consecutive Oil pot killing blows over the inner main door. We still lost that keep.

This so much! I tried IC sewer grinding in Azura's because I was looking forward to fairer (and fewer) fights with gankers, but the loss of CP made the mobs way too tanky and hard to kill quickly. Don't get me wrong, it was doable, but it was horribly inefficient and slow.

I don't pvp much, but when I do prefer to be part of the Zerg. Racking up massive amounts of AP, not attainable in low populated server that no one wants to play on. Champion points or not, the 1v1 me bro are losers and cannot associate with them.

You left out an option, I don't want to have multiple builds for CP and non-CP campaigns.

This is where I am as well... all my gear is set up with all champion points allocated. Maybe if Azura's gave 25% regen and 16% cost reduction as part of the battle spirit? I don't care as much about the damage and mitigation.

My guild mate goes there. Without the champion points the game is much more difficult so that when he goes to normal campaign it seems a lot easier.

He gets a ton more kills in Azura. Apparently that campaign is filled with nubs that don't know how to play their class very well yet.

MMO 101, the average player will gravitate toward anything that they makes them more powerful. This is why the term Meta even exists. ZOS should not expect people to willing make themselves weaker by playing on a campaign that gimps their potential power. It is like an optional nerf. Either apply no cp to all campaigns or none.

I am really enjoying my time in Azura's. I get much more eof the small scale pvp that I really enjoy. PVP isn't so much about the overarching goal of "winning" the alliance war, and it seems that most players, even on appossing factions feel similarly. Sometimes there Will be a fight set up where one side doesn't even flag the keep, because they want the other side to be able to keep spawning and fighting. Pretty good AP all around too. And yes, I know that some will see this as "farming" each other, but honestly, it is a lot more fun than wrecking balling from keep to keep until another zerg manages to take you down.
