Step Two: Get back on your mount
Alternate Option: Use radiant mage light.

If you think nuking people for an unrealistic amount of damage from stealth is skillful gameplay, or that I only go into Cyrodiil when I have 23 others with me, I think you are the one that needs a change of mentality.

Magelight would definitely work, if I wasn't a mDK and could afford the bar slot & 5% reduction in magicka. I don't even know why we're talking counters, I'm simply pointing out how dumb this "ganking from stealth promotes skilled game-play" sounds. It's about as skillful as siege. Do you bby girl. Do you.

Yet again, you miss my entire point. I'm not stating ganking in itself is skilled, but that it reminds players to keep their buffs up and always be ready. I never told you to use harness magic, any damage shield will allow my stealth attack not to crit reducing its damage drastically. I can't place this character though simply because I don't recall it. But in the back of my very old mind I keep thinking Thumbs made a toon with that name. He simply said that when people get ganked enough, it teaches them how to be situationally aware. They learn to keep their buffs active, they learn to not rush into something blindly. They learn how to anticipate the positioning of gankers, etc etc.
