It's the way ZOS does loot, get used to it or quit as it will most likely never change. People have been complaining since BETA. It's possibly the worst RNG system in any game. You have to get the piece you want to drop (which you need a miracle to get), in some cases (monster sets) you hope it drops in the correct weight (Heavy, med or light), then you need the proper trait on said piece of which there are only 2 traits out of 9 worth using and in most peoples experience have a much lower drop chance than the other 7.
For one piece of gear, you need 10 pieces per character, you have to go through 2-3 RNG rolls to get what you want. Then you start the ~1 month process of getting them legendary and enchanted.

In case you wish to invest our time and energy in earning the skin, and you play on PC/EU, then you can apply for membership to Baby Face Bananas since they are recruiting at the moment.

Sadly, I am neither up to the caliber necessary to complete this dungeon yet, nor am I on EU. I can totally understand each group is interwoven: some of the big names in PvP and PvE RP as well, and I have great respect for them.
That said, it is an incredibly hard experience that I can't quite expect to overcome (at the very least anytime soon) with work, school, and other out of game activities. I'm not saying that I don't want to work for it, or that the reward those that did bust their butts for should go to everyone, I am simply suggesting we find another reward besides a skin. After all, skins are cosmetic. Instead of rewarding a skin, maybe rings/armor/weapons of powerful sets? Seems a bit better for all involved.

If they rewarded players with the most desired BiS jewelry through their first run, these players would farm a full set within a day by using different chars. That would set the gap between those who have completed it and those who haven't even bigger.
I am well aware of the importance of costumes and disguises within the roleplayer community, however it is not the only community in ESO that cares for costumes. it is really not unfair to reward those who dedicated their energy and time for completion of the trial with such a wanted cosmetic feature.

What do we have, 3 teams clear it so far? I get it, challenge is great and all, but there has to be some other way to get a challenge.
Ie- a costume is kept from RPers for a dungeon complete. Call me silly, but maybe the reward should be a dye, should be a guaranteed weapon...oh, here we go! Make the reward for running V16 vMoL a guaranteed gold jewelry drop, the dye AND the skin for reg completion at any level.
Monster heads and shoulders drop from dungeons and pledge keys, or bought for ingame gold and alliance points - you have to either do group dungeons, or work for gold/alliance points to buy the helmet from a vendor.DocFrost72 wrote: »failkiwib16_ESO wrote: »I pride myself for my constructive posts ╭∩╮◕ل͜◕)failkiwib16_ESO wrote: »@Fat_Cat45 you naughty naughty fluff, I even had to show this to my friend.

I would agree with the idea of BiS first run being overpowered, but that is assuming
1)You get the right rings first drop (Thanks to ESO's loot system). Restoration staff of agility, anyone?
2)that the internal timer on the dungeon is removed. This is mostly assumption on my part, as I had heard the guaranteed set items are only lootable once a week or something of that nature.
Again, no problem with a reward for those that bust their butts to be the best, but maybe we need to give something more "useful" to the community that accomplishes this. The plus here is that it also removes interplay barriers (which if I recall correctly was one of the reasons the assault and support AvA lines were cut and monster helms are now in cyrodiil), meaning one doesn't have to PvP to be good at PvE, or PvE to get a costume for RP.
