I've never used Bogdan set. Only to get it proc efficiently is by overhealing and you should never do that. None of the monster sets are good for a PvE healer except for 1 piece kena.

Currently I'm using 5x Spell Power Cure and 5x Twilight Remedy with Maelstrom weapons and I love it! Ideally I'd want to use Twilight Remedy staves and a heavy Molag Kena piece but I haven't been blessed with the RNG jezus enough to get a resto. :'(

    I'm using 5 Power Cure, 3 Willpower, 2 Bogdan and Maelstrom Destro+Resto.

You don't need to overheal (it will never proc by overhealing), just put up some HoTs and start doing damage. Both Power Cure and Bogdan will proc helping your whole group while you're doing damage.

Bogdan will heal >6k per tick to everyone in the area, which will either help healing or help with Power Cure proc. I don't see anything wrong with it.

I'll only change it when I get Twilight Remedy.

I know this is the meta that a lot of people thought we would move towards. We had a healer running it on PTS in VMOL, and those totems saved the day more than once. That being said, I dont see too many people running it. I dont do much trial healing, but in 4 man content, I dont think it is needed. I prefer to stack more spell damage AKA DPS.

I usually run 5 piece SPC (kags if the group is really bad), 3 willpower, and 4 piece magnus if running swords, or One kena and One Heathy monster piece with maelstrom resto destro.

Yeah that set is about as useless as the people you find with group finder.

For me it would proc a lot, and it will NOT proc unless a person is damaged so overhealing doesn't help it proc. It works best if you are using regens and hots. So just keeping purifying ritual on the ground will make it proc. That said, I don't use it anymore. With all the moving around, it is really only beneficial if it lands on the tank in a fight where the tank is stationary or one of those fights where everyone is stacked and healed with healing springs. I'd rather just use the engine guardian which provides resources twice with repentance.

Molag Kena is best in pve, and Engine Guardian is best in pvp, however both are viable for both pve and pvp.

Engine Guardian is for PvE tank. Don't use it as healer in PvP. lol

Engine Guardian has it's uses, dont get me wrong, but it also screams "I CANT MANAGE MY RESOURCES!!!" If I was in a group with a healer (or DPS) running it, I would be really skeptical. As for a tank, I know people that run it for sure, but the best tanks just don't need it. PVP and Solo content is perhaps a different story. I know you see a lot of VMA builds running EG. On stam, I totally get it, on magic, I'll refer you to my first statement. Haha.

Healers in PvP in effect taunt all the intelligent players in an enemy raid so it is an apt comparison.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I kind of like it after the changes in TG. Buffed it can tick for over 12k easy, but there are much better things for a healer to equip. I would only use it in a daily/fun run.

I love using it a lot of people say it's crap because it has a Loe proc chance and you have to be near it..but if you're using heals overtime each tick from a heal counts. So when I'm using regeneration and purifying ritual it procs quite often and it drops on whoever triggered the heal.. Which majority of time it drops on the tank which is great because he's not moving around and if he stays in it he stays healed

I heal with 2-p kena. But I like to do as much dmge as possible when I heal as a nb

i used to do it like you, but since my templar is maxed, i find myself more in a support/healing role than doing dps.
bubbles, drain, siphon, shards, repentance, warhorn... between keeping up the hots, there is no much time left do do any significant dps. slotwise too, ofc.

    @oibam this ^

EG is viable option for pve if you want to use a monster set and you don't have a Kena piece, it is just not optimal unless you are a heal/tank hybrid. As it is mentioned above, it is overkill of resource gain and not needed if you are a somewhat good healer.

..btw. I don't use engine guardian and never have, but in pvp I sometimes wish I had it on me because I get targeted by 5-6 players at once in a zerg and stalked around keep walls. I sometimes switch costumes and change armor dye, to avoid being targeted so much >.<
