Anyone know of a vet 16 area where mobs drop lots of staves, shields, or bows?

I've been farming Old Orsinium and not having much luck. I get too many rubetite, rubedo leather and ancestor silk items.

Best bet I'd say is farming mats in Wrothgar. I have 100s of the stuff on xbox eu, you can buy stacks of 200 for about 2500. It's cheaper than night wood. If you don't mind paying a small fee I'd suggest checking guild stores.

Thank you for the reply. I think you are referring to the wood. I am looking for actual items to decon and level up my woodworking.

you can farm raw materials, sell to players, use gold to buy intricate/green/blue/purple woodworking items in guildstores.

Honestly it may be slow, but the easiest way for me to lvl up crafting was to grind mobs, and just decon all my loot when I went to repair. This way I lvl'ed crafting, gained champion points and levelled skills up.

Deconing nightwood items will do it quick enough.

Plenty of good grind spots to get vet10 items to decon.

I can fill an inventory of 120 in 20 minutes. A mix of everything, but it's probably a third of it is staves and shields.

Old Orsinium is one of the places having good Rubedo leather drop rate. Avoid places having beasts. How about moving to Grindaleft? It has generic drops.

I don't know any specific place favouring wood. But usually woodworking is the first gear profession getting ready, followed closely by clothing, blacksmithing lagging and enchanting far behind. Eventually all your crafts reach maximum, and you shift to selling or decon for mats. One solution is to simply ignore the whole "problem".

You could farm some wood and ask a friend crafter to make vr15 weapons from them for deconstruction. Upping them to blue boosts their xp by 50%.
