Feedback for 64-bit Client

Are you still running into issues with the audio?
    Yes, constantly. It's incredibly annoying.

If so, what specifically are you having trouble with? This could include incorrect sounds, static, or missing audio.
I am getting all of those. Incorrect sounds and static very frequently, missing audio occasionally, but since it's harder to notice than the other two, it may be happening far more than I realize.

Are you still seeing any pink or missing textures?
Yes, but very rarely. Not nearly as often as before.

    Are you experiencing any crashes?
Yes, but very rarely. Not often enough to be a concern. The 32-bit client crashes much more often.
No discernible pattern to when/where it seems to happen most.

Are you running the game with any addons?
I've run the game with and without addons enabled. All problems above are equally as frequent even with no addons running.

Another week and still no fix for the sound issues....logged in yesterday to constant bursts of static. The random dock/boat noise and animal burps, gurgles and squeeks are mildly entertaining, but the static is like nails down a chalkboard. Please make this stop.

Run the 32-bit version. The 32-bit version crashes more frequently, but it is more enjoyable to play, between crashes.

Hehehe...crashes vs. crazy, static-y imp burping...oh, how to choose, how to choose?! ;)

I'm updating my prior report on this, as I am still trying to get the 64 client to be stable and playable.

Are you still running into issues with the audio?

Yes. It seems to get worse every time I play on the 64 bit client. It's completely random. I've heard the static, looping sounds, missing sounds, you name it. Everywhere.

If so, what specifically are you having trouble with? This could include incorrect sounds, static, or missing audio.

    See above.

Are you still seeing any pink or missing textures?

Yes. Saw one on Saturday at Shada's Tear in Craglorn, both above the entryway and at the entryway (this area's entryway is a ladder that goes down to water and the actual door to enter). Thee water was pinkish and grid-like; when I went up the ladder there was pink in the distance on mountains.

    Are you experiencing any crashes?

All the time, though they tend to occur most when switching between characters. Either at "requesting character load" or the loading screen after I've selected a character. Sometimes this requires a hard reset -- as in, I can't get to the computer desktop to close the process. It's a crapshoot if I can get the taskbar to come up to right-click and close window. Sometimes it just doesn't close the window and I have to hit the reset button. When this all happens, the sound is still running, so it's clearly a video error. And before you ask, I've updated AND downgraded video drivers; no change. I've tried like 4 versions of Nvidia's drivers, and they ALL do this.

Also, the program settings are the exact same in 32-bit and 64-bit eso.exe files, and in Nvidia's program settings. Neither is set up in compatibility mode, though I tried that and still receive the same problems. 32 bit has no issues whatsoever with crashing, load-in or audio.

Are you running the game with any addons?

    No addons.

    PC Specs:

    Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
Asus A99FX Pro motherboard, latest drivers and BIOS
Nvidia GTX 960 2 GB RAM
    AMD FX 8350 (8 core) 4.0 GHz
    8 GB Ram
    1 TB HDD

ESO's folders are whitelisted in Avast, as is account.elderscrollsonline.com. ESO.exe and ESO64.exe have both been allowed through the firewall.

PLEASE tell me you are still working on the 64 bit client. I'd love to play it if it didn't force a reboot when it sticks on loading. I'd love to play it if the audio/video issues were working. The framerate is much smoother in the 64 bit version, but I cannot stand the audio problems and crashing.

And let me reiterate -- these problems are ONLY on 64-bit. 32-bit runs smooth, just slower with more crazy FPS. But it has no audio, video, or crashing problems.

In the most recent PC/Mac incremental patch (2.3.9), we implemented a number of fixes for the 64-bit client. If you have a machine that meets the requirements, we’d love to get some feedback from you on how the client is performing. Once you manually launch the 64-bit client and play the game for a bit, please answer the following questions:
    1. Are you still running into issues with the audio?
Yes. I've tested this again for 5 days.
      • If so, what specifically are you having trouble with? This could include incorrect sounds, static, or missing audio.
Random ticking noises, keeps repeating itself every x seconds. Very annoying.
In PvP when in the middle of a forest; fighting sounds when there isn't a fight. Mounting sound when you don't even mount. Running water where there isn't any water. People crying or shouting, ...
    2. Are you still seeing any pink or missing textures?
Reported this months ago, this seems to be fixed.
      • If so, how often?

    3. Are you experiencing any crashes?
Yep. At random when doing nothing, or midfight in PvP
      • If so, what were you doing when you crashed? Did you receive any specific error message?
See above. Sent in crash report.
    4. Are you running the game with any addons?
        No.
      • If so, which ones?
      • Note that out-of-date addons may cause you to run into issues, so please make sure they are up to date or temporarily disable them.
    Thanks for your help!

    Feedback since the DB update.....

Still getting random critter noises where they don't belong and random (horrible sounding & loud) white noise.

Still getting random fps frame drops (with or without addons enabled)

This causes the 64bit client to be unplayable for even short periods of time

Been using the client for a week now with no problems until today...... every built (town / cities) up area drops my FPS to about 25. Checked with 32 bit client and no such issues.
