Shuffle Bug.

Sooooo...are you guys at ZoS going to acknowledge this game breaking bug and do something about fixing it?

Because...you know, we're not paying for this game so we can have a player run list of bugs you guys implement, can't reproduce, and usually can't fix (You guys have your moments, I'll give you that), or anything like that.

Just wondering.

Pretty certain that thread is still ongoing because just like shuffle players still say nothing is wrong with it.

Just because ZOS says they are working on a fix doesn't mean we should be muzzled from speaking about it.

They have been working on toppling charge for over two years. Sometimes when a skill can be exploited, ZOS will try to nuke all the thread about it because they don't seem to understand the Streisand Effect.

That tactic didn't work with wall of elements/purge bug. It didn't work with stacking heal debuff with lethal arrow, it didn't work with the camo hunter/ rearming trap, and its not going to work now.

The Kahjiit is out of the bag. Let us talk about this issue in the three months its gonna take you to fix it.

In the closed thread, enough very experienced PVP players noted anomalies that apparently involve shuffle that I consider it anecdotal evidence. Hopefully ZOS looks into it.

Personally, I used shuffle a lot in the past and did not encounter anything like what happens against some very well known players. Many of these players faced backlash when they were unapologetic about exploiting other bugs such as multiple mundus, overload bars, etc.. so they are a little more coy now.

Shuffle. Blur doesn't have the same problem, at least I've never seen it with blur.

So sad that we must keep reposting about the same bug over and over and over and over, to get ZoS's attention on a matter. The bug is easily duplicated and doesn't take a genius to figure out.

Forum bans come hard and fast for that.

But, thing is... abusing shuffle has become prevalent in pvp.

As for the denier... who knows, I certainly don't know him at all, he thinks he knows me though haha.

There is a kind of gamer who I call "win at all costs." This gamer who will do anything within the rules to win. To this kind of player, winning in itself is so important, the path may be full of tedium and gameplay that borders on the ridiculous. I have no problems with this kind of player. Been there, done that. Whatever.

Unfortunately, there is a subset of the above who extends "within the rules" to mean "anything that doesn't get one banned". There are a lot of very good and otherwise respected players in ESO who fall in this category. If ZOS did enforce the rules, most of these players would follow them. It is also unfortunate that a lot of these players are also role models to aspiring ESO players who emulate them.

I suppose my point is that this is another consequence of how ZOS handles bugs at both technical and social levels.
