The smaller the incremental patch is tomorrow, the closer we are to Dark Brotherhood on PTS...
This is the theory: As they get closer to Dark Brotherhood, fixes get put into the upcoming major update instead of being put into incremental patches. This reduces the number of fixes in the incremental patches as more of then get pushed into the DB builds for testing instead of an incremental patch for testing.
Imperial City 2.1.7 was on Sept 21 and had 23 things in it.
Imperial City 2.1.8 was on Oct 2 and had 8 things in it.
Orsinium was released on PTS on October 5
Imperial City 2.1.9 was on Oct 12 and had 7 things in it. This was the final Imperial City patch.
Orsinium patch 2.2.8 was released on Dec 7 and had 28 things in it.
Orsinium patch 2.2.9 was released on Jan 11 had 21 things in it.
Orsinium patch 2.2.10 was released on Jan 25 and had 10 things in it.
Thieves Guild on PTS was Thursday Feb 3, the week after 2.2.10
The final Orsinium patch, 2.2.11, was the week after the PTS drop and had only 5 things in it.
Thieves Guild patch 2.3.7 was on March 21 and had 24 things in it.
Thieves Guild patch 2.3.8 was on March 28 and had 21 things in it.
There was no patch last week.
If 2.3.9 is a large patch, the groundhog Gina will see his her shadow and we still have time before Dark Brotherhood on PTS.
If 2.3.9 is a small patch, the groundhog Gina does not see his her shadow and PTS is right around the corner.

Nice theory I personal hope for a lot of fixes because they brokes a lot of stuff with TG that's on consoles haven't even been fixed yet.
The only outstanding bug that I really need to be fixed is the audio problem with the new client. Pretty much everything else is of less interest to me than what is in Dark Brotherhood.
Also, whatever fixes that are on PTS can be evaluated by the players before going live, which we do not get to do with incremental patches. So, bugs that are of lesser importance to me, like the movement bug, and bugs that they might (ahem) screw up when they fix, like gap closers, I prefer on PTS.0 -
