I've heard that the provisioning writ rewards can contain any of the recipes at the level of the writ, can someone confirm if this is correct please? The follow up question is that some recipe levels aren't used for writs (15, 45, v10) so where would they fit in? And lastly are there recipes that can only be obtained from writs and others that can only be obtained from looting containers?

I'm thinking of starting a few alts to do tier 1 writs until I've got all the recipes at that level, then upgrade all the alts to do tier 2 writs etc

pretty much all i do is buy and sell recipes.


the easiest way to get rare blue recipes is to make a character in whatever alliance rivenspire is in ( im old so i forget stuff) --go to the tavern -- lone wolf inn or something like that --- and you can find a bunch of them in there by just logging in and out. granted, youre gonna have to steal them, but you can learn them without laundering them.

i easily have about 400 recipes in my inventory and in 4 trading guilds. that drowned sailor ale recipe -- i was looking for that forever --- and two days ago i was wondering around malabal tor and found it in a backpack on the beach. there is no rhyme or reason for it, but i do get a bunch of them out of the tavern in rivenspire and if you have a higher level character you can go to " motif " manner in rivenspire -- i cant remember the actual name --- but everything in the house is free so you dont even have to steal it.

evidently i got this mixed up. i was wondering why you were saying it was hard to get, here i had the wrong recipe in mind. then i thought maybe it didnt exist, but i checked my list and i can make this recipe -- so now i am on the lookout for it.

Not sure why but when I go back to lower level areas and start looting barrels, bags etc. I can usually find 3 or 4 recipes almost right off the bat. It's happened to me 5 different times now.

Yeah it might be RNG luck but I found similar when I went back to get certain level ones I found loads. Am sure first pass there were less.

one of my guildie's has this but he wants 100k for it. i listed it for him in lunacy's trader but i told him i dont think it will sell at that price.

Thanks for that. Yeah was quite excited when your message came through - annoying that they have such similar names: Late Hearthfire Vegetable Tart, not too rare; Hearthfire Vegetable Salad, the rarest of all!
