Zenimax Comments are Just Warnings Now

Has anyone noticed that whenever a Zenimax employee responds, it's just a moderator telling you to be wary of offering trollbait or scolding the entire forum about not being mean?

    Nope.

I see my fair share of Moderator warnings as I cruise the Forums, but I also see an equal/greater number of Zeni posts that are adding to the discussion or are asking for clarification on an issue that a Forum-goer has brought up.

However; some people are toxic. They make toxic posts or actively try to derail threads in very negative ways. Those posts are edited/removed by the Moderation team, and I applaud them for doing that job. It has to be pretty thankless, but they do a good job at it anyway.

But no, I see just as many comments adding to discussion as I do Moderation posts.

    I have to disagree

There has been A LOT of dialogue specific to the anniversary event with comments from both Gina and Jessica from 3.30.16 - 4.4.16

There are other discussions to....just click dev tracker

    Read more carefully.

Zeni makes far more posts driving discussion forward than they make moderation posts.

    It is distinguished.
In the thread list, some threads have a Z to the left, showing a dev has commented in that discussion.
In the thread itself, the dev comment is in green text.

And to add to it chances are the thread being removed was reported by a user.... Food for thought.

Because moderators moderate the forums as is their job. IMO there should be a separate icon for CM posts and dev posts.

    agree

And threads & posts with devs are usually more interesting to read then corrected threads/posts of mods.

There is about the same amount of meaningful zos input (as compared to moderator scolding) as there is players providing meaningful input (as compared to general qq or trolling)

    I think its about fair.

I'm surprised nobody has noted the fact that the kind of input people are seeking comes from those whose job is not viewing the forums, whereas the moderators' jobs are specifically for being here and moderating. When it's your job to be here moderating, you should expect to see things being moderated to an extent that you might think there's more moderation than actual developer response. They all are ZOS employees and share the tag, colour on the forum, etc. but moderators are the employees who are supposed to be here more than any other staff.

{EDIT} On a side note: Perhaps we'd see less moderation if the community would stop breaking the rules so regularly. Specifically stop getting into dull witted flame wars with each other to see who has the biggest ego.
