I saw somewhere, cant remember now, some one had drawn borders through out Tamriel to reflect all of the different possible areas ZOS could create. The count came out to something like 30+ territories. This isnt including the planes of Oblivion and any overarching DLCs that would have a more worldly impact.

They apparently code name the DLC's after US presidents. So there's going to be a lot apparently.

We know of a few that are in the works... Dark Brotherhood is coming, Murkmire is annouinced, Clockwork City will be there as well, someday... their stated plan is to go for one DLC each annual quarter, or four per year, until ESO shuts down. We'll see how it goes...

As for land regions available... I'd say, 30 zones worth would be a bit low as count, I mean, that's barely covering the tamriel continent, there is also the maormer isles of Pyandonea, a whole continent of Akavir, sunken Youkuda, frozen Atmora, (possibly Aldmeris - its a little uncertain if that one still exists, or ever existed at all) and numerous daedric planes they could be visiting in DLCs... not to mention the occasional "dungeon-city" DLC like Imperial City or upcoming Clockwork City... (they could do the same in other flavors after all... a huge dwemer ruin, an ayleid tower, battlespire, etc.)

So, bottom line - as lonmg as people keep paying for ESO to make them show a profit to the suits in charge, they will be releasing DLCs, one each three months or so. ;)

I wouldnt say its about profit, they probably add DLCs as long we are here, otherwise we move to another company.

Just to clarify, this is a fan-made map. We have no idea what Akavir, Atmora and Aldmeris look like. In fact, it's not certain all of them actually exist.

None. There will never be any more DLC. Either that or 3.

And don't forget they could even do a Fallinesti DLC that actually walked around and changed zones. Which could make for all sorts of interesting faction based play. Both PVE and PVP based!

A lot. I don't foresee ESO doing badly any time soon. The next Elder Scrolls game is a long time away.

Even if the next Elder Scrolls game had co-op or an online component, ESO wouldn't just suddenly die.

Oh that one's nice, haven't seen that before.

Here's mine; the map is a pre-release map that was on the official website. All of the borders here except a couple are official, with the zone names taken from datamining and lore.

Back before launch, the online map had zone borders on it, which I annotated. They removed the border lines for the current version. The only differences between the original and this one, aside from my annotations, are the border I put down the side of the VH zone, the border between RS and WG, and the border between BF and ST, which are where those borders exist on the in-game map but were missed off this one:

    • RE The Reach (also includes the Haafingar area)

There's no monthly subscription so how is releasing DLC "milking it" how do you expect running the game to be sustainable financially for them without releasing and charging for new content?

DLC's will keep coming out as long as its profitable to do so. Thats good imo. Steady stream of new content.

Props to the original artist for taking this image I just added some things not my work.

    wCgMvgg.jpg

Those 2 are my guesses for the next zones

Gold Coast being 1st & then followed by Murkmire

So in other words the city of Anvil & Kvatch and then later Leyawiin

EDIT: to answer OP's question as it stands there is enough DLC / provinces & zones for 5 years of content if they just add provinces with each DLC...

I doubt that is all they will release each DLC so be prepared for other types of DLC as thus prolonging the longevity of the game

Someone at ZOS is the original artist; all I added were the letters. ;)

Anvil and Kvatch are definitely next, and Murkmire is the only one left after that which has been announced. Leyawiin isn't in Murkmire though, Leyawiin is in Blackwood (BW).
