Necromancer: how long do we have to wait?

Pepsi2853_ESO✭✭✭Well much of the theme of the story is based upon opposing necromancy, and you are Meridia's champion, and she has absolutely zero tolerance for such. They would have to rewrite a lot of the major quests to allow for necromancy, and there is NO way Meridia would choose a necromancer as her champion. Multiple other quests are also based upon the idea of necromancy being vile (which it is,) so this could only work with a TON of scrapping and rewriting content.
perhaps just put a blockade in the story where you can't continue certain parts of the story as a necromancer. instead just force the player to have to end their necromancer lifestyle for a certain period of time until they pass that sequence of the quest. an entire skill line that's important in the elder scrolls series shouldn't be ignored, but they could make it so you're forced to stop being a necromancer in certain parts of the story to make it lore friendly/story friendly.1 -

They said we might be able play as necromancers in the future? When did they say that? I don't remember this at all.
Necromancy is outlawed in many places in Tamriel, and frowned upon in many more. It would be a tricky thing to add because they would need a reason for npcs to be okay with your character practicing it.
BEING A WEREWOLF OR A VAMPIRE is considered "bad", "evil", and "frowned upon" but they are still options in the game.

Ryskim✭✭✭If you can summon up to 3-4 pets with Sorcerer right now, I don't see why they can't add a new necromancy skill line with pets-debuffs too.
The lore thing is not an excuse, especially considering Daedric Summoning and Vampires/Werewolves. So please drop it already.
And they have had 2 years to fix bugs.
Personally I think they will add it eventually, maybe you will have to buy the class with crowns... or not. At any rate I know necromancy will be playable in ESO sooner or later.1 -

{Cindiana Jones} - Defected Templar. Very deadly in Battlegrounds. Likes to wander around Cyrodill.
