Agreed. EP did a great job, and held that keep strong.

All the AD really did from our perspective was prevent us from pushing out on DC and getting you out of the courtyard. They had so much siege trained on the inner we didnt have anywhere to recover up, it was just straight chaos inside that inner the whole time.

Our last ditch effort to save the keep (after that late DC attempt to take front was thwarted temporarily) i called all survivors out the front door and we just wiped out all the AD cause i was sick of the siege rain. By the time we got back inside, you already had both flags and we couldnt reflip front in time. Desperation move because the AD had given up pushing in and were just hammering us. Did you see those siege counts? lol 7 EP, 16 AD 11DC and such at times, we had so much siege hitting us inside the keep, we would put a piece down and watch it vaporize in seconds.

Yeah the siege was INSANE in there. I died from siege more than anything xD

Yeah, the AD would come around the corner on the inner we were sieging and try to push into us, so we'd have to stop and push back into them so they wouldn't pick us off, and then the inner would be up haha.

It will forever be a mystery as to what AD was really trying to accomplish there lol

I wasn't there at the time but being familiar with the AD on Azura's I can tell you a good number of them are painfully inexperienced. It's not surprising they were largely ineffective.

When I was last on two evenings ago they had a lengthy siege at nikel where they opened up both posterns. But they were so timid that they ended up getting wiped despite having 3-4 times the number of defenders. I kept urging them to group up and go in, as well as the miracle of efficient purge, but they weren't having it. I wish I could say this was the first such fight I'd witnessed this at.

You're talking to the wrong group, FWF was definitely not the group feeding you large amounts of AP (except maybe me, because I'm bad). Honestly the salt levels coming from your tears are enough to call you an ocean.

Honestly, just the fact that you posted this on the forums is a sign that yall needed to make yourself and your group feel better for the amount suiciding yall did there. Just remember that AD was also suiciding on the otherside while we had one group with 2 bars while yall had 3.

Sorry I used my rope trying to get Bee back into the tower after she fell down. I ended up having to jump down anyways when we saw the bait be placed. I saw red and my inner potato had to be sated.

I showed up late with EHJ - was getting a massage

By the time I got there, 4 wall sections were down (three side by side) but EHJ hadn't attempted to push into the inner keep yet. AD had setup on the Mine side, DC on the LM side. So I am VERY well versed in how many times we wiped. I wish I had a screen capture as proof - otherwise as stated above, my commentary can be taken with a grain of salt.

I cannot account for the pug groups but from what I seen FWF pushed once and wiped and EHJ pushed twice and wiped before we started working together. Our first attempt was completely unsuccessful as we walked into the breach and 9 of our 10 members died before touching the stairs. (Well done EP for the oil, meatbag, firebolt bath lol). We attempted to take the top floor again on our own and again you wiped us handily. One of our guys was screaming that you had 60 guys on the top. This was not true as I counted while waiting for a camp to go up. There was 36 EP in my view on the top when we wiped the second time (obviously not including stealthers or those defending front flag).

After this Moe and Krystell (excuse the misspelling, I wasn't paying attention to your name ... was dodging rolling away from cold fire ballista's most of the keep take lol) began working together with Bitaken. We attempted to force cap the flags three times; once was semi successful (we got a flag) and the other two were disastrous. After those two attempts, AD started attacking us, taking our resource away and trolling our camp. This is when you guys were able to push us outside the keep for a short time frame.

I retook LM with Maxxima and someone outside of group as we were all almost out of siege and camps and desperately needed a restock haha.

Once we regained the outer walls we made a largely successful push and took the top of the keep with FWF however AD hit EP from the other side as well. We had the top for about 1-2 mins but we weren't able to beat AD and get setup on top and EP came in and wiped us again. We then spent sometime fighting AD on the walls before opening the front door to bath the front flag with siege. I know someone said that there was a "push" through the front door but this isn't true. Neither FWF nor EHJ pushed through the front door. We sieged the living bejeesus out of it, but never attempted to take the front flag through the door.

The final attempt came as Rylana had stated because EP tried to push AD out. We were able to wipe 10-15 EP on the top of the keep (the ones that didn't go with the emp group) and secure it. AD pushed up but a massive amount, like 30 but we had some well timed ulti's coupled with bombard spam and wiped them. We took back flag and worked forward to front flag. I was the mutha facker up top bathing the front flag in oil (musta had 15 kills from that alone).

I know what I made because I just homed on Azura when I logged in. I showed up late to the party as mentioned before, so other members made more then I did. So from the point I arrived (4 outer walls down, DC setup at LM, AD setup at Mine) until the keep flipped I made 135K AP. I know this because I logged after the keep take.

Regardless, no one ever counts the pugs and the opposition always tries to state there are more enemies then there really are. AD had the largest number, EP was in between AD and DC's size and DC was definitely the smallest.

As for all the bragging, congrats on your huge 0 tick. But don't forget that the majority of the DC and AD players were worth 0 AP to us long before you finally took the keep. That's how many times we wiped you all as DC and AD opened both posterns and the front door.

you guys LOST the keep, aka defense failed. wither its 1 min or 10 hours, you lost it.


maybe if you had better strategy you could'v defended it early on and not let it dragggggg.

ask DC what did we do to get our 12k defensive tick 10 mins after we capped the keep. we worked very smrat, divided the ***, pushed together, and everyone went back to keep range before it tick. use a timer. its free on any phone. you are welcome.

not going to congratulate EP on a fail defense. you guys are worse than my ex gf that needed attention 24/7. its not about you. its about the DC doing a great job.

I had over 200 kills as I am sure you guys did as well. The only point Moe was making is that the smallest group got the tick and it was substantial. Regardless if the majority of that was us getting our AP back for dying or not.

EP did a fabulous job defending; not taking away anything from your guys ability to defend. We were just congratulating ourselves for winning the battle.

also playing without a mundus stone? big big effin whoop, i played on a v5 sorc with v2 purple gears on it.

ehj came only the last hour of that keep take or less than an hour, we were farming others somewhere else.

so in 1 hour we made double what you made on that so called defense.

also did i mention you guys had emperor? i swear i can 1v1 your emp on my v5 sorc. its a sad story but emp is still emp. he can 1 shot groups with seige.

wait did i mention we wiped AD so many times but we made sure not to wipe them fully. we just wanted to scare them from pushing on our side.

oh and did i mention that EP is the zergiest faction of all time on any campaign, how you going to come to me and complain about getting zerged.

let me mention more stuff. did i mention i am the best player to ever play this game? you sound jelly.

Might want to rinse off some of that salt - it's not good for the skin.

Reality: You had emp and one massed group. We had two separate smallish groups + a bunch of non organized pugs that listened to what we were yelling - and for that I salute them.

Secondary reality - I made 220K at that keep. 150K killing EP and AD during the entire siege - and if you think A Dwas not attacking DC you are completely out of your mind - we had to wipe them on several occasions and on almost every one you guys got walls back up - or doors back up for that matter.

It was a good fight. I salute all who took part. Fights like those are why we all play the game. If you play to PvDoor like it seems the EP who turned the entire campaign red - then got gate capped defending emp - well...I can understand the salt.


Ry - good fight. AD - good fight. DC - great work and solid team effort.

To be fair, there's a difference between a congratulatory post and a brag post (what the OP was--the guy tried to claim there was 60 EP at the keep. Give me a break). DC deserves a congratulation. But EP also deserves props for holding the keep that long against 2 factions.

After last night it looks like there's some good competition on the horizon for Azura's Star. I'm not sure why anyone would try to immediately turn that into some drama-ridden cesspool right off the bat.

let me repeat myself. since thats is a thing nowadays.

do you deny that south west corner, two ep camps were used under 20 seconds. thats 40 people right there. and there were still tons inside holding top and flags.


yes when we were on the flag finally, there was 5 ep alive, duh, the rest died and couldnt rez again, camp cooldown or lack of camps.

do i need to explain to you how counting work? unless we not counting the people who rezzed at the camp and died immidiatly. maybe we should do the same for DC and count only the 10-15 people that were alive when keep was taken.

get over it. ep is a fail of a faction and i wont pat anyone on the back for holding a keep for 3 hours, if anything you are bad for letting the defense drag that long and you are the reason lag can start if ever, turtling in 1 keep. could'v attacked any other emp keep to take it if you wanted to keep emp

why do people expect to be congratulated on turtling inside 1 keep and losing the entire map. it baffles me .....
