    Before that zone had great xp, and people grinded there. Then ZOS nerfed that to hell, and now i think no-one plays even those quest's there. Also now most if not all quest's can be soloed there. I dont know but i think at least that xp part should be reletivly easy to change. Maybe that might get some more action in that zone. Nice quest's there shame it goes to waste for majority of players.

    I'm about to go through this zone with my BFF, hopefully this Saturday.

    I'm looking forward to it. I hope they don't make this one of those "solo" zones in the future. I do hope they update the reward system though.

    Everything should be dynamic via player level.

    At the very least they need to remove the few instances where you MUST have 4 warm bodies to proceed with the quests. It was a bad design to begin with, worse now that it has been years since its launch and the zone is empty.

    They will probably take the simple solution and add a motif or two to the daily reward bags you get from the repeatable quests there. But as it stands the zone is part of the base game, so it is not profitable for them to put any resources on improving the zone.

    Would love to see this but last thing I saw them say about older zones was that they had no plans currently to go back over them.
    It wouldn't be that hard to revitalize Crag tho. Just fix a couple of useless forced grouping mechanics and put the xp and rewards to where they should be.

    Ha, just made a thread not too long ago with a similar theme. It is a damn shame. This wonderful game is chock full of 100's of hours of solo content. A person can only run dungeons and trials so many times before they become stale and repetitive. If they won't update Crag, they should at least consider adding some of these group adventure zones in future updates. Daily quests and delves, random boss encounters perhaps, an undaunted style chest at the end of such a delve? The possibilities are endless. Doesn't have to be 4 man leet group hard. Hell I'd settle for a zone just a bit too hard to solo but a nice challenge for groups of 2-3.

    Correct me if i am wrong, but i am currently vet7 and some of the main quest line is group content in a way that you definitely have to have a group to do it? So that means i am basically screwed out of doing that content because nobody does that zone anymore. Would be next impossible for me to do it now which totally sucks.

    It's been like that for more than just a few months. There are ways that ZOS can revamp Craglorn and design new adventure zones to make them more popular, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

    ZOS has stated recently, as in a month or so before the release of TG if I remember correctly, that they had no plans at all to revitalize Craglorn. It's all about selling g new DLC's for money, rather than revamping a free zone that everyone in the game has access to.

    Fortunately I don't think there's much there requiring 4. I went through in the last few months and Spellscar is fine with three, while the final quest for Lower Crag seems to be the only part needing 4. Fortunately not all need to be on the quest line, just grab some friends, and they can push the beacons as long as they are grouped.

    That said, it'd be nice if they did give Crag some love. The instanced delves are all large with some fun mechanics, but as a zone designed pre CP and with softcaps, is now pretty easy to solo or duo.

    When all zones are treated the same as DLC and everyone is scaled... this is after all an Elder Scrolls MMO and I sure do remember in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and even Skyrim deciding where I felt like going when I started my game.

    Lower Craglorn is soloable with the right gear and CP, with the exception of a few quests which require a full group to activate various objects at once, etc.

    Upper Craglorn above ground is mostly soloable, with the exception of a few WB's, and the delves. You'll spend a good amount of time doing the quests, have fun doing them, but will be mad at the end when you learn how little experience you receive for doing them, and the crappiness of the rewards.

    Put the exp back, and bring the rewards back in line with the risks, and people would flock there.

    Yes, there are several quests where you need 3-4 people to complete as you'll need to coordinate pressing buttons, levers, etc. to get through doors. It is extremely annoying, because a friend and I have been going through it and keep having to stop to port people in from our guild to press a button for us to continue (good luck getting anyone in zone). It seems silly to me, and I think it deters people from doing the zone which is a shame because the quests are pretty neat. And I don't know many people who'd be able to get a group of 4 together to coordinate doing an entire questline.

    I like the fact that this is a group zone (it's an MMO after all), however I do wish the forced group number requirement parts were removed. There aren't forced group requirements in other group content, just a recommendation that you need x amount of people for it (save for that 2-people required group boss in the Alik'r public dungeon). Locking people out if they don't meet that number requirement seems harsh to me; especially for such a dead, low-level zone.

    Just a few days ago I solo two of the three quest that I need to complete all Craglorn (Shada's Tear and Skyreach Hold, now I just miss the menhir one).

    Personally I find the zone to be fun when solo and I was expecting Orsinium to be like that when it came out. That didn't happen of course, so I am not buying any new DLC now.

    The key with Craglorn was that if something was too hard to solo, you could ask for help in zone chat. Wasn't that the original idea of the game, with the public dungeons and delves and world bosses?

    Small? I tried doing one of the quests and the boss absolutely ruined us. It took three players just to get the door to the boss open anyway. Granted our group was just a Vet16, Vet12, and a Vet1 but still for a PvE quest boss he was untouchable.

    Yes, except the zone is dead and no-one replies (especially since I play in "off-peak" Australia time). I wouldn't be as far as I am through this zone without my guild's button-pressing expertise in times of need :D.

    I know a few people having a blast doing it solo but the group requirements keep stopping them in their tracks. That, and the annoying bug where people can't enter Reinhold's Retreat to complete the final quest of Lower Craglorn (please tell me that's still going to be fixed if they're not planning on doing anything else to the zone?).

    Not necessarily. Cyrodiil is no longer making them money and theyre constantly tweaking that.

    Unfortunately for Craglorn theres been a very long list of needs for the game since its release. And because of this its taken a backseat for a very long time. Im going to wager once the game drops the Veteran Ranks we may see some changes made to Craglorn that promote players return to the region.
