Weapons unsheathing

My weapons are automatically unsheathing at various times, particularly in towns. At time rarely, other times every few seconds, or so. Very, VERY annoying!! Any ideas why this would be happening?

Someone uses an AOE buff which puts you in combat mode.

I will occasionally get the opposite problem, usually right before a fight officially starts.

It usually goes like this:

Unsheath > buff self > targeted ability with cast time > automatically sheath weapon > combat start > have to take a precious few seconds to unsheath

Usually it happens when some tool is using "rapid manouvre" near you so they can sprint faster... and yes, it IS annoying. But I hear they are changing that one at least... so it will only affect group members... we'll see how that goes.

But agreed, its very annoying. Makes me wish the guards would see ALL spellcasting in town as reason to exort some fine from citizens...

@TheShadowScout yes Rapid Maneuvre and some other skills do that, and someone casting Blazing Spears while you are trying to teleport can hinder you or interrupt your teleport.

If I'm not mistaken then Mutagen/ Rapid Regeneration and Boneshield used to do that as well. I'm not sure, but I remember it like that in the early days of ESO. They might still do though... I mean I've grown used to getting my weapons unsheated, so I barely notice -.-

Rapid Maneuvre is fixed now, for us PC players. The skill only affects yourself and group members, so you will not be affected by it anymore.

It's good for pve, bad for pvp lol
