Has PVP server performance issues impacted you?

I'm a lover of the ESO and would dearly love the PVP server performance to be corrected so I can return. To make it crystal clear (or not) to those controlling the investment purse strings that this is a big issue for their long term profit margins and viability I have created this poll. Fingers crossed.

If it continues indefinitely I will leave for sure. I'm not near that point personally and I think this game offers great gameplay and graphics, but absolutely I would leave if it becomes 100% apparent there is no intention to fix it.

No, PVP server is not an issue.

i have never had an issue in cyrodil, and i have awful internet, and not the best gaming rig out there, really don't understand where the issue is

If the lack luster stuff keeps coming... i will take my Rig elsewhere..

Oh and the constant poor attitude from MOD's is driveing my away...

Are we playing the same ESO?

You must simply step into a PvP server with half of its population cap filled to feel lag. At the peak of a keep battle involving 40-50 players, you literally CANNOT UNDERSTAND what is happening anymore due to lag. (whole server dies)

I'm willing to bet you only play on severly underpopulated campaigns....

Only really playing on guild raid nights now, barely ever log in besides that because I am sick of feeling frustrated and let down.

Just done with it all. Til the performance issues are resolved, I am very part timer now, and no money from me, period.

Due to the Cyordil performance and false promisses i tend not to invest any money into the game anymore, usually i subscribed monthly to also check out the pve stuff but the way things go, ill start investing money again or even play the game again regularly when they start to care about pvp.

The Sewers could be a solution but its a half finished dlc i paid for.

As i mentioned elsewhere, any good developer can get to the root of pretty much any problem in a couple weeks given basic instrumentation. They know what the problems are, the issue is that they must deem the investment too expensive for them and they think the player base will simply accept poor performance. a Poll can be a hard thing to ignore, please vote!

as you said in your other post it must be 'L2P' right? I can almost visualize the server technicians looking at the maxed out CPU and memory and message queues backing up and debating how they can increase the 'L2P' resources.

I don't play anymore. I still hope (and the reason I look at forums) they will have a magical fix to fix TESO. At the moment I have lots of fun in BDO, no matter what people think of that game. Why am I here and not playing then? I am playing, but I need to refine a lot of ore and can do that afk without being booted,

Not really leaving or looking to leave, but the performance is really making the game not fun.

Personally, I just want to see something from the developers besides "Server side improvements in Cyrodiil" on patch notes. I'd love to see:

Alliance War
- For one week we are changing the rules to acquire Emperor in an effort to spread players out.
- List of changes

That would get me excited about the game. Instead we just get told to spread out, well, give us a reason to spread out!

Brutally honest, yes, I'm sick of it. Only here because I have a great guild, they're good friends. I can't play that much without crashing or getting kicked from the server anyway. Plus, more Templar nerfs this patch. I guess this was the last nail in the coffin. I don't have another game to play so I'm probably gonna cancel sub and just late night PvP on Saturday nights from now on.

I really thought there wasn't a limit of the smoke I would allow to be blown up my hindquarters. Guess there was. Haven't booted eso since I bought the division and I really don't feel the need to log into the hot mess that is eso.

Since there is more to it than this biased two choice poll, I do not think there is one person that plays in Cyrodiil that has not been impacted by the performance at some point.

What I see here is no road map of the games future, I have heard many things talked about but none of it has made it to the game, ZOS has done nothing to raise the morale of the player base, not fixing things in a timely manner does not help.

I approve of this poll.

The money isn't in PVP, this is perfectly clear by every DLC being PVE based. I refuse to view IC as a PVP DLC.

A fair few people I know don't even enter Cyrodiil anymore because of these exact issues, even more have left or are leaving. It's sad. I miss the PVP of old and those that used to play.

Second night of pvp with the TG patch last night, i have serious concerns towards Cyrodiil performance. Atleast in 2.2 we could swap weapons and spend more than an hour in pvp without getting kicked. It's not even like the lag only happens when there's mass amounts of people on screen, 5-10 people and the server loses its sh*t. This is the only MMO i have to play (PS4) but there's always witcher 3 and Fallout 4 to sink time into instead.

Already unsubbed after TG patch. Even with my recently upgraded rig, lag is still a problem that makes pvp incredibly frustrating. Fortunately I now have more options in terms of other games to try that my old computer would never have been able to handle......

Greetings. As A PvP player on PS4 EU. I freeze in all campaigns. The only campaign that had little lag was Scourge. Called it my home since game started. Whom Zos accidently deleted Scourge when thieves guild came out on PS4.

But in 2 weeks time. I am glad Scourge will officially come back. Hardly lags there at all ever since I been playing in Scourge for long time. However in meantime I am stuck with freezing campaigns. Until that time comes when Scourge finally comes back. Therefore. I am still a big fan of ESO and pvp.

Even though it has been over 2 years of no fix on lag in pvp. Hopefully in future. Therefore I will not leave.

I love my PVP, but it's becoming worse with every patch. I dont know if PVE only will keep me long in this game, I am part of great PVE guild , full of amazing people, however even PVE has issues now. I am not sure what ZOS is thinking, game has enormous potential. I dont believe that they are incompetent or lazy, probably corporate suits is to blame, usually they only care about current profits, not looking at investing more in the game that came out 2 years ago, that might return money in sometime. That's why all those layovers happened , that people were talking and probably they downgraded server to save money too. It's sad really,

I haven't left but this did make me have a serious think about my sub. I'm glad a simple restart fixed the purple-ness. The 999 ping remains tho..
