I don't get why so many people cry about stamplars, I do fine with mine in pvp against all classes. I think they are OP, tbh...

No sir DKS got hurt bad.... unless you run food but if you run drinks damage decrease is very noticable... 7k leaps sucks ...we depend on our ultimates..
You lost 2 to 3k off leap base damage
People are running 15% to 20+% hardy
This was a huge change g or those of us that run this build.... we are still ok but much harder to play . HONESTLY I have switched to stamplar and find it easier....

The changes to hardy also double hit it... the only way I can get to where it needs to be is use food which is bad in PVP for us...

That's is running stamina food.. very high stamina with little resource management ... that is definitely burst .. while your ultimate is high your wreaking blow and weapon abilties will be the same... I run 3500 weapon damage with over 2k+ stam regen... over 1k magicka... regen ... my leap went from 19k base to 15.7k after patch... Dragon Leap was awsome when it was on weapon damage ...
I will try a full stamina build tonight with less weapon damage ... I have not tried that honestly.. but in doing so my ability win prolonged fight goes down substantially...

Very nice work as usual, Alcast. I am leveling a Stamplar now that I am absolutely loving. Your vid gave me some great ideas.
I am going DW instead of Bow for my second bar. The Binding Javelin buff sold me on it (used to use Magnum Shot for the charge combo.) It really is SO much more useful at 28m, and it hits harder with DW (i.e. a litle bit less wet of a noodle.) I lose some utility from no Bombard, but Flying Blade is actually a decent opener with Camo Hunter up and I have found it to be workable.
Really like your setup/gear. I need those Maestrom weapons asap. I prefer to set up multiple Crit Charges during a fight and want to maximize the damage.
Also, Stamplars are really awesome and vesatile. My main loves:
Major Mending on a Stam build.
Great purge that provides the above buff.
Jabs are an amazing tool for both PvE DPS and vs stealthers in PvP.
Repentance is holy goodness for PvE and a source of decent Stamina healing.
Basically I have found that Stamplars have nearly as much versatility as Magplars (which I love and main) aside from healing, but play a bit "tougher" for lack of a better term. I play an Orc, and MA + Swift Warrior is a real gem of a combo given our low mobility. In some ways the Major Expedition nerf was a boon for Stamplars. Food for thought.

Before patch the go to build for most of us stamina DK's was around 3500 Weapon Damage with good resource managment ... our strength was Dragon Leap in combination with empower from WB...
You need about 2000 stam regen, 1000+ magicka regen to effectively manage your resources... If you run food your magicka will be about 600 your stam depending on build will be around 1500 with mundus without mundus around 1200....
Nice build and video. I honestly love playing stamplar. I find it challenging and fun especially running sword and board. Bow and 2 hand is the only set up I haven't tried yet, started with dual wield/2 hand then went sword and board 2 hand and haven't looked back.

I tested leap and I used to hit max for 23k before patch, now on a enemy WITHOUT armor its 14k wtf? Do you know if that change from weap dmg to stamina on take flight is intended?
Tooltip is still as strong as before tho. I will create a forum QQ thread about this bug
Also, it does scale with weapon damage too, tested that.
