Maybe your attempt to PvP without 40 allies behind you insulted insulted him
can we have one thread that doesn't come down to self gratification..... this is a game nobody cares.

This Vicious Death nonsense was the single most stupidest decision in the history of this game by ZOS.
As you know, I was the one of the biggest voices on here advocating for some buffs to siege weapons for 2 reasons:
1. To fight zergs
2. To ensure outnumbered keep defenses were not an act of futility.
The changes in siege have accomplished that mission.Keep fights are actually fun now with that and the new Forward Camps..well were(more on that later)
Due to AOE caps these sets punish small group players far more then it punishes zergs. Just wait till all these zergs are running Vicious Death too in about a week....folks won't think its so great anymore.
Im just glad i don't have to deal with this nonsense anymore because i sure am not paying for it. All they had to do was remove AOE caps, instead they give everyone a buffed version of Proxy Det and a set that blows everything up, and leaving AOE caps in place so the zergs will still take half damage and all the small groups of 6 or less are punished by both of these additions.
Its baffling how they can continue to do this. Proxy Det + Vicious Death ensures 1 person can one shot a 5 man small group, and also ensures large groups will be unkillable waves of destruction once everyone has Vicious...just wait till you see that 24 man VE raid all wearing VD and Proxy Det come knocking on your door and steam roll you like an Italian Bulldozer...you won't think itst is so great then....VD in the hands of an organized Guild like VE is just going to equal lolz.
Its unreal how well thought out this really was lol. Im just glad im no longer paying for this nonsense.

So...you're sure the set sucks...but you don't play this game.
Right....

Right....
Not sure why you're attacking a player or derailing thread.
VD set was problematic as a design intent, a lession on why you should engage in consistent player-dev communication, and how not to fix a complex problem with cheap duct-tape.
Now the game is stuck with it.
Someone transcribed the PAX questions, here's one that jumped out at me:
Q29: My question is PvP related. I would like to know what is your opinion on the outcome of the Vicious Death set?
RL: What is my opinion? I think it's really effective and I think that what we intended it to be hit the mark. It might be a little strong but overall it's pretty cool. I do think that we looked at proxy det and how that works or scales and it is really strong on that initial burst even on one player so we are going to look at that but overall it's pretty cool.
Just goes to show how oblivious they are. "Cool" is not the word I'd use to describe prox det, whether used on a solo player or a group. I'd also argue not a single intention for VD was actually realized - people aren't "spreading out", numbers at fights have multiplied (though there are other factors that drive this as well), the core problem was brushed aside, it helped force the meta to take a hard shift towards magicka, it reduced build options because it's B.I.S. to such an extent that every magicka dps needs to be wearing it, and it synergizes with NBs so well that broken is the only word that comes to mind when describing the potential burst numbers.

... However I agree it does synergize with NBs super well though... However DK's in a group (and I stress in a group) can be super nasty with it also.
