What does Molag Bal's last Speech mean?

After defeating molag bal he says something about the conflict for supremacy, which iam guessing tht daedric princes are struggling for power. He also says that his grand scheme has only began and that he says to the vestige, "your power will become useful in the coming conflict" Could there be a war between daedric princes? and oblivion factions in the future? this has made me wonder even though something like this isnt in the timeline of the lore.

Basically, that he wants you to fight for him most likly lol. Molag bal possibly sees you as an asset that he might be able to exploit later on.

We can be certain that the Daedra will return and that we've only seen the beginning of the struggle. Since the planemeld as per say has ended (from a lore perspective), we can only assume that the Daedra's are waiting and preparing for the next event with them. They seem to be the instigator of a lot of the lore in the Elder scrolls universe so be sure to pack your cold underpants because I foresee a trip back to Coldharbour

You also fight his ghost form in imperial city sewers and you destroy it. This might have basically forced him back into the void, and weakened him even more. I bet Molag Bal will beg you to side with him later he does lose everything, not only can he not finish what he wanted to do with Nirn but he was defeated twice possibly humiliated in front of all the other daedric lords.

Merinda possibly stole most of his souls, he owned as well as a lot of his realm because of this. It was possibly her goal all along. She did not care about Nirn but basically stealing something away from Molag Bal. Possibly also all vampires if they did belong to him most likely no longer belong to him because of his defeat. He loses a lot of power from his defeat and its possibly going to change him forever make him the way he is later in other games not willing to try and enslave everyone and basically only going after souls of his despised enemies. As well as tempt people into the path of corruption.

Was reading something on morrowind, there is this lich that created this ring that could rip open any portal to oblivion and for this action he was cursed possibly turned into the lich and this might be whats going to happen next someone gets a hold of the ring and causes real problems, possibly Dagon or Boethia, maybe even Merinda.
The Clockwork city might be the start of another daedric invasion, possibly all fighting for control of Nirn for themselves.
Basically you might have to help the three stop this and also have to go to multiple oblivion realms. Also you possibly have to pick a daedric prince to side with. Maybe Poor Molag Bal will be an option, or maybe Sheogorath! Or Azura, or Dagon or even Nocturnal.

This guy might be involved with all this http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Barilzar I believe he might be the one getting daedra to invade Nirn and for this he is cursed with undeath and also unable to leave the mortal plane because of his actions.

The "lore timeline" is derived only from the lore we had in other TES games. Anything that may plausibly have not been written down (or the books it had been written down not survived) for players to read in other TES games can still have happened without damaging canon lore... which is why I presume they choose this time period, records -always- get lost during times of troubles, and thus they can do a lot of things in the interregnum and then say "oh, the lore just got lost in the centuries before the other TES games" and thus add to the lore without creating canonicity dissonance.

...and that's what this was about. Yes, there will be some major conflict between daedric princes in future DLCs. We have old Stonefires comments, and the prophets insights at the end of orsinium... we know beothiah, mephala and nocturne are busy plotting... we know the daedric forces are stirred up... we know there will be... something, something BIG, coming, and it will start with clockwork city.

The Clockwork City has been in development for a little while, you can see a video just showing random sites on youtube, as well as at least Mephala's realm (or pieces of it). I think the Spider Goddess will play a big role in an upcoming DLC! <3

I always assumed he would be returning later on, I seem to recall Meridia warning he'd be back. I mean that could well have been referring to the Imperial City invasion, but I don't know. It seems kind of odd to me that the major villain in this game would just vanish and give up after two pretty decent attempts at domination.

With the whole daedra war mentioned in Orsinium, I think he'll definitely be watching at the very least. I think he still has some tricks up his sleeve; I'd be very surprised if he's given up on his sick, twisted dreams.

With the threat of Molag Bal currently diminished, there is going to be a struggle for power among the Deadric Princes, which is why Maelstrom Arena was built to "train an army" of super soldiers if you will. We vestiges will surely play a central role in this war, as the Deadric Princes will likely each grovel over us and attempt to bribe us for loyalty to their cause in the traditional wimpy, passive aggressive Deadric Prince fashion since they are too weak and incompetent to do anything right on their own of course.

It means Tamriel may be in a big load of deep trouble with the Princes going to war and likely fighting for domination over Nirn.

I would imagine, for example, that Mehrunes Dagon could be even worse than Molag Bal.

That would be nothing new. Daedric princes have always been as busy with their power struggles among each other as they have been tormenting Nirn.

Except we know what it means. War is coming and the Daedric Princes are choosing sides. The Great Deceiver (Boethia?), The Sewer of Discord (Mephala?) and The Patron of Darkness (Nocturnal?) all plot a great deception. The Elder Scrolls foretell that when the Clockwork City's doors are reopened the war will begin.

Boethia and Mephala are actually 2 of the 3 good daedra of the Dunmer houses of Morrowind and Dagon is 1 of the 4 bad Daedra of the houses before the Tribunal so very unlikely that will be happening but again the Tribunal pretty much convinced like 90% of the Dunmer that there gods and turned them against the Daedra princes so maybe they could be trying something to get the Dunmer back but we all know that the Dunmer would be following the Tribunal till the 3rd era with the events of TES3 Morrowind.

Like I said that's all the teases the prophet gave was 3 princes and the Clockwork City.

with molag bal defeated, the other 3 we might face are mehrunes dagon, malacath and sheogorath because these 4 are part of the house of troubles in morrowind. also the tribunal become active aswell. reading the lore sotha sil visits the leaders of oblivion to strike a deal around this time. I am also interested to see vivardenfall. Mannimarco isnt finished yet either until he wages war on mages guild and is killed by an arch mage. The deadric princes have all united before aswell when they cursed jiggalag, who was considered strongest daedric prince. Also meridia didnt steal all the souls they returned to tamriel after freed from molag bal. I guess the currency used in oblivion are souls. We have alrdy seen some bits of clockwork city from one of the maelstorm arenas. i have also seen argonian behemoth in maelstorm arena which will be officially introduced in mirkmire dlc.
