Hello.

So lately ive been playing WoW, and im really really liking it, only played a few hours of the new ESO patch (in pvp) and i havent noticed any change at all, it all seems the same, 64bit client still has performance issues and there is still loads of broken ***...
alot of people have totally quit ESO and gone to Black Desert Online, and im really considering totally quitting ESO for WoW also...
im sick of the same *** we have been putting up with and im sure you all are too, so what are your thoughts?
Im also very disappointed to see Azura's Star being dead.... i was looking forward to some PvP with no CP, but it seems like everyone needs CP to be able to be good.. :/

I can agree with your frustrations, though I'll be staying. Been here a year almost already and I have fun with the people I run with. Even if Azura's is dead, I'll probably be using that as my guest campaign and probably play there more than the other campaigns. It's sad though that people aren't making that jump to it. =/

I find WoW PvP to be a bore. Vanilla AV and Open World battles were cool but that was so 10 years ago. I watched some BDO streams. I'm not impressed.

I still find ESO to be my best PVP option right now. I am enjoying this patch. Less lag for me so far. I jumped ship to trueflame because I want to use my points not nerf myself.

It may be so 10 years ago, but the fact that its stable, arenas, RBG's, ect ect, no frame drop in pvp, no ping issues, its a playable game, where eso isnt so much

sure it's playable if you want to play the same timed match over and over. I've run those BGs tens of thousands of times. I'll never go back. That game is done to death.

I agree that I am really bored with ESO PVP. It is just a huge Zerg lag fest. I wish they would just implement small scale PVP. 1v1, 4v4, etc... That would make the game a lot more fun for me and people have been asking for this for years. No idea why it is so hard to do.

Its really sad that this company has not fixed this issue in 2 years now. I stop watching eso streams because they never talk about this issue ... I really like this game ... I love the PVP but man what a waste of a great game if you ask me ...

If they could fix this it would be beyond awesome and would become a cult classic in this genre...

When I think of this game one of the first things in my mind will always be LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG

-1 points for bringing up wow

Aside from the bugs that will be sorted out, this is the best update i have played in almost a year

    -Less lag
-proxy det kills most bad zerg ball groups if its well timed with an ulti, and most people dont have VD yet
    -more ap earned
-sorcs can be killed easier which changes to cps/armor sets/dots ticke on shields
-stam builds are back to a reasonable amount of damage (WB spam nerfed)
-people actually play in the sewers now because there is really only 2 campaigns and AXE isnt a thing anymore
-magelight means NBs actually have to have skill to kill you instead of stacking WD and ambush spamming
-toggles changes- you can use more skills instead of double barring magelight, inferno, etc
-champion point changes gives more utility to builds
-gap close spam is alot better and actually playable now

SKILL IS COMING BACK TO THIS GAME, HORAY!

The cracks in this game have been there since day 1 and it feels like when they patch up one crack another part of the foundation develops even more serious cracks.

I feel there is a disconnect between the group currently working on the game and those who actually developed it - almost as if those left on board do not fully understand the code (language?) creating barriers. I'm trying to be more mindful of this and believe the people working on the game do their best with the tools they have. It really is a fantastic game world they've created.

We may never see perfect balance but they have gone in the right direction. I have seen more variety of stamina & magicka builds in Cyrodiil over the past 2 days, and it is very refreshing. Prior all I saw were shield stacking sorcs, Ambush/surprise attack spamming NBs & Every other variation of stamina builds using wrecking blow. Stamina was abused and turned Cyrodiil into a massive playground for stealth builds, which could pick off targets and escape with no consequence. The only magicka class that fit into that meta were Sorcs.

Its going to take some time for things to settle, and people to adjust. I love the changes to mobility, it still allows very good players to be evasive in that playstyle. The average - poor skilled players are going to learn very quickly they aren't as good as they thought they were.

WoW is the most cookie cutter centric game out there. I played it for 10 years competitively. To each his own I guess.
ESO is miles ahead of WoW.

PvP is broken beyond belief. I've experienced a lot of broken crap in the past two years, but what I experienced in my short session last night simply blew my mind in a very negative way.

Honestly @ZOS_GinaBruno & friends, you really cannot continue down this road if you want PvP to survive.

I started BDO on early access and it was the game that finally broke my ESO addiction. There is so much detail and thought put into every part of the game. And best of all, no bugs or lag.

U r right on man. Some of their decision makers got kicked in the head, spending 1 million(nominally) $ to do an awkward promoting campaign instead of actually spending it in updating its servers and making a major part of the game playable. It's like food company spending 1 millions dollars to market food products that taste like crrrap.

BDO is an awesome game but way more grindy than here if you want to PvP effectively. Imagine the old uncapped champion points with diminishing returns as far as how fast you level rather than diminishing returns on power you receive. The open world PvP is overly discouraged even though it is open, unless you do a guild war, and their sieges are only a couple times a day to where I am told you run into the initial issue where you realize you should have grinded more.

I am sad because it has a lot of cools stuff. Guess just as sad though; that they cannot seem to code in this game so; pick your poison.

Well for what I paid for my computer I would like to enjoy a game with nice graphics yes. And as I mentioned previously, I played WoW competitively for 10 years...meaning having obtained Grand Warlord on multiple toons. The game is extremely cookie cutter and pretty much a re-skin every single content update. The use very simple, dumbed down features to appease a very large portion of players. WoW is pretty much a MacDonalds of the MMO industry. They make you think they sell 'burgers,' but they dont.
I started BDO on early access and it was the game that finally broke my ESO addiction. There is so much detail and thought put into every part of the game. And best of all, no bugs or lag.

Considered it but read many reviews that state while graphics are great and combat is amazing, the lack of PvE content kind of make an "awkward" feeling while playing the game.
