Suggestion: Make-It-Yourself Disguises, created from found clothing items

Do you know those no-armor-value clothing items you sometimes find inside crates and barrels? Side-stitched pants. Layered shirt. Fingerless gloves. That kind of thing.

Those look really nice. The biggest flaw with them is that they take the place of armor, so you can't really wear them in the field. So I propose that clothing stations have a function added to them to stitch these items together to form one complete outfit.

Chest, legs, and shoes should be required, while hat, belt, shoulders, and gloves should be optional. After "stitching" at the clothing station, they would become a single (and thereafter unalterable) item, that would fit in the disguise slot of the character's equipment. Color changes would be made at a dye station to the pieces separately, prior to stitching them together.

Maybe players would have to do something to earn the right to make disguises in this way. It could be a new passive skill in the clothing craft, or an ability gained only after a quest is done or after a certain level is reached. Or some combination of the aforementioned three criteria.

There are times when it might be useful to look a lot like a peasant in a place such as, say, Cropsford. Heh heh.
