so i'm curious, what are your characters usernames? and does it matter to you the username? i've seen people with amazing names for their character! but i've also seen people named "ajuiehfirhpgrih" lmao. comment me all your characters usernames with the class!

I've got all but my banker in my signature. It gets complicated though. Some have been retired from active roles and some are new so I could play all alliances on one server rather than splitting between NA and EU on Xbox. I fell into Italian names as a general thing for some reason. I am very careful about my names. They have to go with the look of my character design.

I originally wanted to use an alliance correct character always but I didn't like any Dunmer woman I made and was compelled to go with a male. I kept disliking my Bretons so just gave up and made an Altmer for Daggerfall. There are lots of Altmer running around there anyway.

My first character is always WldKarde.

After that, the only rule is that WldKarde must be in the name. Usually WldKarde turns into my main character...but not this game. For some strange reason my little stamplar Dame WldKarde store my heart!

My current character is called gwerwyn (a DK, principally for the Earthen Heart skills). It is an old Cornish word which means 'light green' - pretty fitting I thought for a Bosmer.

Finding a name that is both reasonably lore-appropriate (in my eyes) and yet slightly different tends to be my goal. I often borrow ideas from other cultures, stories or languages, particularly those old local or regional dialects where there is a wealth of fascinating words.

I namd my character after a song by Opeth. Face of Melinda. I thought it would be fun because half of her face is burnt but I kind of regret that I didn't make her hair black, like in the song. But oh well. I am waiting for a name change option now anyway. I hope we get that soon so I could change it to something else. Ugh..
