You can hold aggro while in mist?

Unfortunately you can't cast or use abilities while in mist. However i did discover that Blocking breaks it. Switching bars breaks it. Just last night it occurred to me to try and turn this to an advantage. taunt >> harness magica >> mist. harness magicka will absorb magic even when mist is up. Mist also reduces the damage that your shield takes by 75%. So it should absorb more before it breaks. you can then bar swap to break mist and taunt or use abilities then swap and mist up. I used poison mist for a bit of damage. the biggest problem with mist is all regen is stopped.

Another problem I forgot to mention is that you can't be healed while mist is up. So I was thinking healing ward should pop just after mist naturally expires. So you could healing ward yourself and then mist.

Are there any abilities at all for any classes that restore stamina or magica when you are hit?

But, you don't lose aggro when in mist? The boss still focuses on you? Because if you taunt and then go invisible by using Dark Cloak, for example, it drops aggro and the boss goes after someone else. This is not the case with mist?

The Black Rose set buffs the heavy armor Constitution passive, but it is still a small amount of stat return. However, the Constitution passive requires getting hit, which a damage shield prevents. As a NB, Poison Mist might proc Siphoning Attacks, just depends if it counts as a DoT are just consecutive single hits. Options for healing could be from set procs, such as Malubeth, Juggernaut, Bahraha, and others, but those also depend on mist might how incoming damage/attacks work and if they count toward procs. Very interesting ideas.

Oh, I see what you mean. I haven't tested that yet to see if aggro is dumped under mist. I would think it doesn't as it isn't invisibility just a magica form of blocking. I was still testing actual skill directly. I probably won't be able to yes this until tomorrow.
