PvP: do you intentionally kill AFK players?

Title say it all but if you recognize someone is AFK do you attack them or if you can tell only after the initial attack do you finish killing them?

I attack before I'd know if they are afk most times. Why let an opponent potentially sit there and assess the situation? If they are afk in stealth in a decent hiding spot it should be unlikely that anyone would come upon them anyway. Afk out in the open? Fair game.

The ol' decoy trick of having one guy in the open reading a map while a 23man zerg crouches stealthed nearby will ensure that there will be no mercy.

If you are really AFK.. then get off your horse & stealth!

If you're sitting AFK in a war zone, it's your own fault when you go up in flames. The only time I won't attack an adversary is if they are having a personal engagement (Duelling), or if they're taking part in non-combat activities (IE: Multi-Faction Guild Photo).

I get reeeeally suspicious when I see someone that seems to be afk out in the open in Cyrodiil.

Exactly because of this. I usually stealth and wait to see what happens, especially if I'm alone.

because i've hit load screens and came back dead. everyone gets ganked afk or not!

Don't worry, I do that on a daily basis aswell. Do I feel bad about it? Not even remotely. If there was a option to go factionless, I'd go for it without second guessing myself.

someone did it today I marked him nothing my friend said to kill him I said it looks like a trap it wasn't but 1 other player attacked we killed him and moved on left sir AFK to the gods

Depends.

If I'm out in the wild and I know said player is alone, nah, not worth it.

If I'm in the middle of a siege, I'll kill you, because I have no time to spare.

I attack any enemy player I see instantly (I have learnt from my mistakes of the past. People are ***, do not offer mercy).

The three characters I play the most are my Magicka sorc, my stam nightblade and my stamknight (stamknight main), on all of them my burst is high enough that an AFK player or someone caught completely off guard will die in basically 2-3 seconds, so neither of us have time to pull back and behave honourably, haha.

Most of the AFKs I've seen have been standing inside the inner gate or at the transit shrine. If I don't kill them someone else will, and if not, then the NPCs definitely will after we capture the flags. So fair game I say.

I don't because the only AFK people I've ran into are low levels, wouldn't even be a challenge if they were there. So I ignore them.

If I AFK in a PvP zone, I deserve to be coming back to the respawn screen.

If I decide to attack someone, and notice they don't react due to AFKishness, I kill them anyways. If people AFK smart, they'd go in stealth in some corner noone ever goes to, where I won't notice them, and so would be unlikely to attack them.

The ones I don't attack are never the possibly AFKish ones, but always those I just see if I can sneak past...

That's mostly where I find afk players, I've once found someone afk on a resource at the flag...
