About inner light character effect for mage light ability?

Well I really like the blue glow on my characters for this ability. Are you going to make it show the blue glow on arms and eyes if you have it on your bar?
It is said it does not work for either morph and this is upsetting, because I disliked the ball orbiting the character affect but loved the glow effect it had on the character itself please make it so this character effect shows just by being on the bar with inner light. While the glowing ball only appears when using the ability.
I bet this will upset a lot of people if it is not done, because I think most like the illumination blue effect on their charaters without the magelight orbiting it.

Agreed I liked the glow too, taken some fantastic background with my character as it reflects off everything, very nice looking however maybe the change is due to PvP performance so the servers don't have to calculate all that visual data??? I dunno

Pretty sure there will be no changes on the ability now anyway as they seemed to have made the changes and not gone back to discuss so must be a tech reason behind it I would assume.

Well, if it was for pvp then I would be very angry, I can see why they made the ability able to see cloaked players, but the inner light effect should be apply able, when the ability is on the bar I am sure it does not hurt performance that much. If it does I don't care, because at least we need some cool looks like this one. I really like the looks of inner light without the orbiting ball thing, and if they made the cool part of it disappear then its not worth it for me to use mage lights altogether because I don't use the ability really anyways.

I turned off Magelight effects as soon as I was able to because the orbiting ball makes me feel sick. It just whizzes around my character too fast. I am absolutely fine with everyone else near me being able to see that I'm running Magelight, but I'd really like to be able to turn off that orbiting ball on my own screen.

Just to show there are contrarians out there. I find the inner light glow atrocious, and avoid that morph at all costs just for aesthetics. I rarely avoid functional skills for that reason too. Rather than posting to say "oh no I like it better off". I'd rather have this post taken to show this is something people really do care about when things like this change. Whether you picked it, or avoided it .. aesthetics can matter a bit. Especially with a character you've become attached to.

I really like the blue glow effect of Inner light on my magicka based characters. The blue glow is actually what originally got me to try the ability in the first place back in the day. Seeing people running round town with this pretty cool visual inspired me to look it up and give it a go for myself as it gives magicka characters a nice additional level of authenticity and detail. It also looks pretty awesome in screenshots of which I have plenty.

Having tested the changes on PTS I'm pretty disappointed that we only get this effect now when we activate the ability. For me it would have made more sense to have the blue glow when the ability is slotted and, when activated we get the addition of the orb to indicate that we're actively searching for someone in stealth.

Please don't completely dumb down all visual effects for the sake of PVP performance.

A little upset i cannot use Radiant Mage Light as passive detection when it was a toggled morph. Now the sentry set has also lost a lot of value.

I would prefer Radiant Mage Light turned into a 15 second buff with the reduced stealth damage tied into that. Keep the old cost as well. Many people liked this ability for the snealth/cloak detection. I could care less about preventing cloaked user's from cloaking if i can already see them and knock them out of it. With new the morph i cannot detect anyone unless i'm spamming the ability while i walk around, with the new cost i don't think that will happen.

I feel Zos really dropped a ball here..... You want to discourage ganking but kill the one niche build to counter gank the ganker's! This make's me sad.

Now stealth will again turn into 2 people bumping into each other. First to use piercing mark/caltrop's or one of these mage light's will have the upper hand. However it will suck when your a lone wolf and someone happens to run into you with 10 people close by.

All these change's are making the game very boring imo.
