Just realized that Empower only gets consumed once the ability does damage

All this time I've been doing Entropy -> Meteor, followed by immediate Puncturing Sweeps.

What this means is that my Meteor was not actually getting the buffed damage, instead my Puncturing Sweeps were. So now I've been doing Entropy -> Meteor -> Wait until it lands -> Puncturing Sweeps

I'm not exactly sure how this works with abilities like:

• Magicka/Inevitable Detonation
• Proximity Detonation
• Daedric Mines and both of its morphs
• Trap Beast and both of its morphs
• Fire Rune and both of its morphs

Just tried Empower on DoTs and the buff doesn't get consumed... Not sure if that means Empower doesn't work on DoTs or it's just a UI bug and the DoTs are actually fully affected throughout the duration.

I can't tell though because Console.

I don't think channels get the empower bonus. Radiant Destruction and Sweeps don't get the bonus. The initial hit from sunfire consumes it I think.

Its more than just this.

ALL damage calculations only occur when you hit someone.
