I find it interesting that nobody has said dark cloak in this thread yet. And that's the skill getting nerfed the most in the next patch. Hardened ward and wrecking blow aren't even being touched.

I say dark cloak but not for the reasons people might think. The mechanic that allows you to aggro an entire room of mobs including a sweeper boss then use a single dark cloak to dump all of that onto a group of players is a VERY broken mechanic. I actually don't mind the other uses for dark cloak at all. That one stands out as very unintended. At the very least, sweeper bosses should be granted "see invisibility" or be immune to dark cloak and invis. You aggro it? You deal with it. Don't use it as a Summon Medium Sized Army spell.

The sound effect on puncturing strikes

I love my templar but that nasty sound effect goes straight through me and you can hear other templars coming a mile off because they are forced to spam it too. i've no idea what noise a conjoured javelin of light would make but I'm fairly certain it wouldn't be that ^^

cloak, wings (RIP GDB), bolt escape/pets, BoL (RIP) were/are what make the classes really unique.

Anyone having a problem with those skills just has a problem getting beat by those classes lol.

And WB, but fear wins I think. Unblockable, undodgeable, every once in a while lacking a visual cue and impossible to break free from for several seconds no matter what you do. Often missing CC immunity after it's broken, more often so than with any other skill for me.

Fear is annoying and Im a nightblade, Hardened Ward is annoying and Streak is very annoying oh yeah and dark talons because it's returning in the next update just like it was back when ESO launched so beware of the DKs who spam it because it doesn't seem to have CC immunity.

Streak. Hard to bring down smart sorcs because they know when to streak away. Kill 20 sorcs is worst bounty to fill even though you can't throw a rock in cyrodiil without hitting one.

When I'm on my Nightblade it's Hardened ward, when I'm on my Sorcerer it's Wrecking Blow, when I'm on my stamDk it's Cloak.

And it's not a bad thing.

Only because 2-3 Nighblades can exploit the gap closer immobilization/buggy silence. Both good range and damage allow them to get away with it.

Luckily this has rarely happened to me on console. I hear it is more common for PC players though.

Did the PTS fix this issue with the new gap closer slowing mechanic?

Anything that keeps me from killing another player, or that kills me.

Can we please get rid of these abilities? Without them, I never die and can kill anyone. I'm actually the best player in the game, but broken abilities make me lose.

Edit:

Bolt escape, for reals though, but only because they canceled any momentum you had while going into it. I wish I could bolt around stuff still.

the bosses of IC still see you in cloak? i've been attacked enough by them in cloak
