PTS "Everything" Vendor

So most players I speak to on PTS have one thing in common....

They want to test things (it is a test server after all), but they do not have access to resources to do so. So could an "Everything Vendor" be setup somewhere on the PTS as a one-stop-shop to get sets, materials, weapons, etc. for our testing purposes?

For example, a friend, who on live has 4 out of 5 spell power cure (spc) pieces. By the time the TG patch hits live, he will more than likely have 5 pieces of spc. However right now, he cannot test spc on his character because it is not given on PTS. If this was implemented he could go and purchase it from this new vendor.

Also, it seems that the current system is filling up mails and inventories unnecessarily with coffers and RFTW. Wouldn't a vendor with a huge item table be a cleaner solution?

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_RichLambert what do you think? is there some consensus within ZOS or technical limitations preventing this type of thing?

Whilst we would all love this (and has been suggested many times in the template request thread) it hasn't happened. Having spoken to a couple of ZOS they mostly said it's a time thing. It takes time to develop a vendor with everything useful on it (or boxes that contain everything, for example) and because everything is very time constrained it just hasn't happened.

As I said in the linked thread though, it makes testing essentially meaningless because we can't test the new gear, new crafted gear or anything like that because we just don't have the tools.

I assume it takes time to setup the coffers in our inventories. Is that a lot of time? I don't know. Comparitively if that time was spent on this vendor, would it be significantly more time for ZOS? I didn't read that whole thread you linked so maybe the answer is there. When I get time I'll read it all.

Personally I think a vendor isn't really necessary. What they need to do is:
    1. Give us 9/9 traits in all crafts on premades.
    2. Give us boxes with tens of thousands of each crafting material, tannins included.
    3. Give us boxes with each dropped set in every weight/trait if it is possible to get different weight/traits.

Those three things would make testing far more meaningful and I can't imagine it'd take that much time, you are right. This means you'd get an "IC Box" with SPC, Leeching, etc, each box containing a full infused and full divines box. Same with Orsinium gear and Thieves' Guild gear.

Anything else craftable we can just craft with the given materials.

PTS launches prior to this included sets that were gold, so most the time it wasn't necessary to upgrade.

Except the stuff you want to craft isn't gold, so you had to go and decon for hours to get enough materials to do anything and make multiple templates in doing so.

We just need those three things to actually test meaningfully, no idea why we haven't got them yet, it can't be that time consuming to create a box with what we need in and give traits to premades, or even a "Skill Book" like you get for Vamp/WW to max out all crafts + traits.

If they ever do implement such a vendor they should make sure it is only on the PTS and doesn't accidentally appear on Live. EverQuest had such a vendor which was once accidentally enabled on live servers after a patch...they ended up having to shut down the servers and roll back every who used the vendors. Fun times....
