Stupid Question, How do I start Thieves guild?

I waited till now to purchase the DLC on PTS and I heard the sound for an email (I'm assuming it has where to start) but my email was full of rewards for the worthy and I couldn't receive new emails until I cleaned it out. Now I keep getting keybind messages and after I finally get them to clear I get another full box of Rewards for the worthy.
I can't find how to start the thieves guild in the patch notes. I did find a new NPC in one the underground location in Daggerfall but it was someone wanting to take me on what I guess is a heist, do you have to do this first to get the skill line for Thieves guild? Or is there a different NPC to get me to the new location?

✭OK I take it that you have to do this quest first before Thieves guild skill line becomes available. So I will skip it until launch. I just wanted to play around with the thieves boxes through out the zones, but if I have to do a quest first I'm gonna skip it.Proud member of the Psijic Order - The first wave - The 0.016%0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Unfortunately you will not be able to overcome the rewards from the worthy spam. That's something that has been plaguing anyone with a template character. (At least I haven't heard of anyone who could get the mail to stop spamming.. their fingers hurt long before it was done haha)
As for the quest. I was unable to find a way to Thieves Guild without accepting the quest from either the new "DLC" tab in the collections window, or finding Quen in an Outlaw's Refuge. I do believe you can teleport to someone already at Hew's Bane, but I didn't test it myself.

✭✭✭✭✭When I checked the in-game 'Help' section under DLC there really wasn't anything listed there on how to start Thieves Guild either. Fortunately, I had remembered the PTS natch potes.
ZOS please add some info in the in-game help under DLC to help those get started. There is a tooltip that even says press 'Help' to get started with DLC ...0 -

✭Thanks for the info. I was only wanting to get the skill line but I'm unwilling to finish an actual quest step until the DLC goes live. I was thinking usually all you have to do is start the thing to get the skill line. I was unaware that you had to complete a quest first to get it. Johngo0036✭✭✭✭✭@Casdha - the quest is nothing major, just sneaking around to a building, try to steal a skull or something, getting caught and the viola its done.. if memory serves me right..

No, it isn't. The place Quen takes you to first is not in Hew's Bane. I think the missing wayshrine is a bug.
When I looked at my map to see where I was It was the far north border of Windhelm (Eastmarch)
