If Meteor Doesn't Get Reverted...

There is already an awesome counter to meteor: it's this exotic, little-known skill known as "Hold down the right mouse button when you hear that sound and see that white circle". It's amazing!
    The scene:

That already happens with players not using sword and shield and who aren't DKs.. Not being able to reflect Meteor affects a slight minority of people in PvP, while it is the exact same kind of game for the rest of us.

Meteor will be used a lot more now (too much). What was keeping it a balanced ultimate was that it could be reflected.

Well, nightblades can still cloak from it so I guess we're good.

I highly recommend that if meteor changes aren't reverted (IMO it should be reflectable, but this is not that post), the skill should do some combination of the following:
    • A) Do less damage
    • B ) Be easier to CC break (sometimes it goes through block and sometimes it can't be CC broken)
    • C) Not even do a CC

Everyone is already testing with this, and it is by far the easiest way to wombo combo someone. There is rarely a fight now that doesn't end in a Meteor combo, and I feel that it is currently too strong and needs to be toned down.

    Thoughts?

Edit: Apparently B + ) makes some sunglasses dude. B)

I don't really see a problem here. I've had hundreds, if not thousands, of meteors reflected and cast on me specifically in my pvp experience, and very rarely does it result in my death. I can get on board with the wombo combo - I've seen this in action, but I don't feel it's really a problem. It's a high cost skill, it's an ultimate, it should be effective. Besides, the easiest way to mitigate a meteor, regardless of whether you're the caster or the target, is to block and then move after it lands. This is just something that people need to learn and understand, and get used to doing it on the field.

What it does do, however is eliminate the most effective counter that currently exists to meteor, and renders the anti-Mage class (AKA the DK) vulnerable to the hardest hitting Mage spell.

It also incentivizes players to run a skill proven to cause lag in cyrodil. Which is not really okay, imo.

I'm so bad at this game that a loud, booming audio warning, and a large, highly visible rune around my feet is not enough. I simply do not have the presence of mind to hold down block.
