I agree with all these posts.
I mean, they made Wedding Dresses functional on a nord male for ... Dungeoning purposes. WHY not make the perfect Trap? Imagine the LuLz that could be had !

    That's what I think, too.

They fit, so I have no issue with them.

Also they are going to introduce a couple of revealing male clothes too, according to the latest datamining thread.

Yes, not nearly as many as we have for females, which is still troubling, but it's something.

This is surely a step in the right direction. :)
All my characters are female and I dont have anything against revealing costumes. In fact, I have 2 of these "harem" outfits and imo its not "degrading" or something. But if course, simular options for males are needed for overall balance and fairness.
And yeah... I really dislike that pretty much all light armor looks like nun's nightgowns and weird leather dresses. Doesnt make any sense, especially for redguards and altmers, since their homelands and quite warm and wearing leather dress might cause heat stroke or something... Not to mention all the sweat. Lol.

I noticed that the harem outfits are not designed to fit smaller busted women. I have to wonder if it just did not occur to them to try them on a toon with, say, a B cup equivalent. The first one in particular just hangs on my slim Dunmer girl.

And I do like the boy clothes better on my female toons but let's be honest, boy clothes usually look better on women.

It's cause some the more pervert players been crying about how the game isn't "sexy" for being rated M and want stuff added from either the TES modding community or stuff straight out of JRPGs.

So you have to resort to name calling because you disagree. So those of us who like sexy men are perverted? Really now?

Uh no ? Their is nothing wrong with sex appeal but there's a difference of using it right and over using it like how some of the perverted players want it use.

Some sexy or lewd outfits ok.

Over the top skimpy 0 tot he imagination outfits no.

They should be releasing a male outfit of the same type. I'd like my male characters to have something skimpy to wear. They seem to have lot of skimpy outfits for women. ZOS, we need to see more hairy chests!

Because every outfit released in the game so far was a full set of heavy armor looking.

    Let us enjoy the skimpy.

I would love to see this type of armor in game for my guys. I only have two, I'd love for them to be skimped out even if it isn't "Elder Scrollish". We almost have it with Argonian armor but it isn't quite there.

Guild Wars 2 has some really great stuff. I have my guys there decked in gladiator and barbarian armor.

All my characters are females too and I almost bought the purple one for my adorable Argonian, but in the end I didn't for two reasons. First, the bug that slightly deforms my characters' chests. Second, I thought it would not be very tasteful to dress my escaped slave in a costume that includes a metal collar.

But I do like the outfits, and I am looking forward to some of the datamined outfits that are also revealing. Most of my characters wouldn't be caught dead in a revealing outfit, but two of them certainly would rather wear something lighter than long robes, so I love having options. The guys should have options too.

And don't get me started on the Altmer armor, especially the light armor. It is absurd in so many ways. It is not only too much cloth for their warm archipelago, it also has ugly, HUGE stitches that do not fit a race that is so obsessed with perfection (I say that with love, dear banana elves).
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I made my characters to have a B cup, but I gave them as well wide shoulders, which somewhat compensates the effect, which costumes have onto the chest area. Still the decollete looks weird, too low for a young woman, looks like an older lady to me - maybe ZOS's designers should have a look how a younger woman looks like, instead to craft it after their spouses.

Because they are literally the only good thing to ever come out of the god forbidden dustball that is Hammerfell.

Although some shirtless, or open vest and sleeveless type male costumes would actually be appreciated.

Mostly unrelated, but I want different posing options for female characters. I tend to roll male toons because the stances are cooler. Cooler stances for the ladies, k thx, harem outfit or no.

No armor in GW2 looks like that even the revealing stuff. Even the mentioned gladiator and barbarian armors at least have a bit covering the chest.

I just can't get past the fact that ESO character models look more like they are a competitor of FFXI (from 2002) than they are a competitor of games like Guild Wars 2.

And I hate to say it but many times.. FFXI looks better than ESO.

I'd like to throw out that these are cultural outfits.

Redguards are clearly based on a few different cultures, not the least of which appears to be the whole Arabian Knights mythology and tropes. Obviously there's more to them than that. Just as we see that the Breton women's clothing is in fact a series of dresses and that culture is classical medieval.... I don't expect much skimpyness when they eventually get around to Nord women's clothing - or if they'll even have "nord women" and instead just assume they're unisex with the men's.

I think it will only be a problem if *all* the female outfits are skimpy. We have plenty of covered up clothing options you can steal and launder, the basic armor options as well. If they release cultural garb for say the Nords, Orcs, and Altmer and they're all "sexy," then maybe there's an issue. (Bosmer I assumed would have some sort of skimpy factor to them, and Khajiit and Argonians really don't count considering beast races. And Dunmer are Dunmer. I fully expect there will be a sexy factor with them)

While the shirtless pirate outfits are a nice option for skimpier male armor, why not treating it the same and having a male harem costume? it's not the same as the female one put on a male, because the top looks just dumb, and was obviously made for women characters.
They could also just remove the top for males, I guess that should be prety simple...
