Um, ESO hasn't even been out for 2 full years yet, and pledges and monster helms/shoulders didn't exist until several updates after launch, so I don't know where you're getting this "nigh on three years" thing from.To those this change is "taking away the feeling of accomplishment": don't buy them, continue farming them. Don't you dare bringing up the argument "but we have to if we want to stay competitive". You made people like me do exactly that for nigh on three years.
Now here's a great idea. If you got the vet completion, you unlock the gear. Gives players the incentive to experience the lore and immerse themselves in the dungeon experience.RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »I just wish they would tie what you can buy to achievements like you can't purchase valkyn without beating cCOA if they do that the prices would be fine because you can't skip the dungeon.

It both takes away the feeling of achievement when you do get that helm in the trait/weight you were looking for, and makes it so it's much easier and quicker to just grind AP/gold and buy the perfect piece outright then to do the content and get the drop.
