Facial Animation in PTS

I have loaded the PTS and logged in to the game. Everything else seems to be working ok, but I'm not seeing any change to the animations when talking to people. I thought I read this was included in this build, but i may be wrong. Is there anything I need maybe make sure I have set up correctly on my side?
I'm running a MacBook Pro - Mid 2014. 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB - OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.4

I seem to have noticed the same thing -- but I have no way of comparing what FaceFX should look like. One thing that's sure is that NPC's lips are moving again, in the sense that those NPCs added back in the Orsinium DLC didn't move their lips at all. Movement appears to be in sync with speech. But the mouths themselves don't look properly animated, as the lips are just two parallel lines rapidly moving up and down. I don't see lip inflections for vowels like e or o .

Edit: from the patch notes:

• Improved facial animations will be included in a future incremental patch.

So what we're seeing might just be some sort of placeholder animation for the time being (as I've written the above part, I had a nagging feeling that I've read something about FaceFX quite recently. Turns out I was right.)

The improved facial animations for Mac will be enabled in the next PTS incremental patch - you guys aren't doing anything wrong.

Facial animations are here! From the PTS 2.3.1 patch notes:

Mac OpenGL 4.1 Updates
Improved facial animations are now enabled for the Mac game client. Enjoy!
