HELP! Sudden Compass problems

I cant see the titles above the compass that indicate which quest directive it is.This just happened when I logged on.There seems to be a slender black bar covering the words now.

Also at times,the words seem to be either translucent or the same color as the bacground world.Its really odd.Just happened today about an hour ago.0
