Bethesda (Game Studios, I presume) has no experience with MMOs and their games are always horribly unbalanced, what makes you think they'd handle ESO better than ZOS?ProfessorKittyhawk wrote: »It'd be great if Bethesda assumed control over ESO and completely turned it around. Make it into a game that people won't be embarrassed of. <_<
But I'll settle on the loveable mess that it is.
The ESO forum is going to remain separate for the time being (possibly forever), so you need to create another account anyway...WhiteCoatSyndrome wrote: »
I've asked on other forums I frequent. No one answered. And I don't like juggling a half-dozen different forum accounts so I can ask the odd question.
And every time I tried to log into the Nexus my e-mail would get hacked. So there's that too.
@ZOS_GinaBruno
Forum Registration is separate. (I'm all setup on both the account and forums). You may want to note that in the OP.
There is no forum for these accounts yet, the bethsoft forums are the old ones that are getting discontinued and replaced by this new thing.

The forums there are for all of Bethsoft's products. Gina had mentioned to talk to the staff on the forums (there) if we had questions. Need a forum account there for that, or to chat on any of the forums other than this one.
It looked like you thought the forum account was required, as part of the new registration. It certainly would look like that to everyone who saw your post.
The bethsoft forums are the old forums getting replaced, and if you have any questions I'm pretty sure the awesome Gina will help us out.
Nay. I was pointing out that ZOS is directing us to use those forums to ask Bethesda questions. I don't have any questions.
...The point (apparently) was missed.

They did. That's exactly why they founded Zenimax Online Studios.ProfessorKittyhawk wrote: »
Nothing says they couldn't hire people that DO know how to run an mmo.
Likewise, I'm glad I was able to reserve mine. I was able to get my preferred name here on the forums, but my @ name ingame had to be Ign0tus because I assume the other was already claimed. I actually had something ludicrous as my original account name because I did not know that people would see it ingame and have to contact you with it. I made it long and complex so it would be like a second password for logging in. I later had to open a ticket to get it changed and Ign0tus is what they gave me.I GOT MY ACTUAL ACCOUNT NAME!
Someone stole my "true" account name...

Not unless you want it to! It's not necessary, though.
