I grabbed GTech1, instead of GTech_1.

I hope the (obvious) future consolidation doesn't cost any of our ESO support staffers their jobs.

At the moment? Not a lot, just damage prevention.

Later on? I strongly suspect we will see a centralised account/forum system... and so by giving notice to ESO and Bethsoft forum members to register their names early they are looking to prevent a flamewar when they do announce the new systems.

If I had to guess why... it would be so that the community management and customer service efforts could be consolidated (for one reason or another) in a way that simplifies, and reduces the cost, of these things.

I've asked on other forums I frequent. No one answered. And I don't like juggling a half-dozen different forum accounts so I can ask the odd question.

And every time I tried to log into the Nexus my e-mail would get hacked. So there's that too.

It'd be great if Bethesda assumed control over ESO and completely turned it around. Make it into a game that people won't be embarrassed of. <_<

But I'll settle on the loveable mess that it is.
