Useless Traits:

It would be really nice if many traits in the game were re balanced to make them all useful rather than just 4.

Choosing a trait for armor of weapon should be a tricky choice that fits with different builds and styles of play. Instead of Divines, Infused for DPS, Reinforced, Impenetrable for sustain.

Would make such a difference. Also would stop the annoying 'Well-Fitted' Boss drops etc.

I think more traits the better, if you give it all to players they are never satisfied. If you think kids in the Candy store, why you let your kid taste them all? If they taste them all, they are unhappy, but if theres still some candy they havent tasted, they come back for more.

I agree though some ESO's traits needs work.

Well fitted, training, exploration and of course sturdy should be completely reworked.

Yes, both well-fitted and sturdy could definitely use a rework.

But dont touch my training trait! It has a nice and clear purpose for unfinished characters and lowbies. I use training traits all the time when leveling skills. Also think exploration has a solid function already, maybe just buff it a bit to give more overall XP.

The problem is the fact that VR16 stuff, gear you actually use endgame, has "leveling" type traits :dizzy:

Defending is a good trait too, though it's percentage should match Sharpened so it properly counters it.

Well fitted: reduce running cost by 30%. That would be useful.

What also needs a rework is the icon for the Citrine stone ("Weighted" trait/weapons). It always trolls me when I open a hireling mail and then it's not Tempering Alloy but again one of the damn Citrines lol

I have a purple exploration set that I use on my alts when gathering skyshards to get a free level per area. I've also thought about making a well fitted set for doing my weekly survey collection run. Remember, the game isn't all endgame. If the traits on endgame gear bother you, you should probably complain that endgame gear shouldn't come in these traits. I don't think it should change. I have impenetrable Molag Kena head and shoulders. I'd be happier with infused/divines, but I'm happy just to have them. I certainly don't think the whole loot system needs to change because my gear is only *almost* perfect.

People complaining about well-fitted obviously don't harvest seriously. :-P

I think sturdy is the only trait that really needs a rework. The others all have their uses. Just not for DPS/sustain.

I can see a use for sturdy, for example, it's fine for grinding. If you want armor bonuses while grinding, you can getting in sturdy and save a bit of gold.

I honestly wonder if the dev team is aware that when "well fitted" drops for an item, we actually don't like that. It's like winning the cruddy version of the prize you actually wanted. Maybe they think we actually use well fitted? If that's the case I'd like to state clearly right now that well fitted in its current form is niche at best and IF I ever actually want it, I'll just craft it up. There is no reason for it to be on drop gear other than a troll from ZoS.

I think we just need a token system in the game... IE If I've run 200 Veteran Crypt of Hearts, I'd love the option to strike down the rng and have the option to pick up a "blank" trait helm from a Vendor and spend 300k to put the trait I want on it. Just saying.

Weighted should reduce the time it takes to charge heavy attacks. It'd actually become a top tier trait paired with molten armaments (would be fixing magicka dk burst issues too) and other builds I'm sure.

There should be a fun set with reduced run speed. It is a horrible trait and an annoying obstacle.
