Because, it perpetuates the further watering down of the game.
Trust me I'll use all these things if they were to come out, but here are some of the reasons and trends as to why, I used to be starkly for banking ap, account wide AR and undaunted and even race change, and am now leaning the other way.
Champion points, account wide. Now I'm one of those lucky enough, or stupid enough to play long enough to be at the cap, but I'll admit that yea it is a little bizarre that at a start my abilities hit harder, I regen more, and tankier etc than someone who bought the game yesterday. I mean any long term player in this game can also even argue ZoS owed us that much, but in an MMO where there are classes and "controls" in place, the spread of AP through out your toons is another item along the decline to redistribution of skill vs mechanics that this game has been on for a while.
Take pvp.... If race change were added, anyone with a credit card or gift certificate will be running to the crown store and you will see nothing but min maxed players in cyrodiil, and not saying that some racials need or don't needchanging, but to give the power for someone who doesn't want to learn how to manage stam, and giving them a redguard or bosmer, then these window lickers are going to be able to annoy you longer and harder.
For instance I play an imperial stamplar, regen value (depending on my desired play style that day) is 1900-2400. Now I like to think I hit pretty hard, and come a race change option I'd likely head redguard because 9% more regen and adrenaline rush means I can sacrifice more regen and allow racial passives to make up the regen difference. Another point in regards to that, at the lowest of my regen values, and equally speced redguard is at the mid to high tier of my regen values. Having that power change be linked to what will likely be a real world monetary transaction is too close to pay to win, if it isn't by definition.
Problem with faction wide AR and undaunted rank, is it is diet champion system. You shouldn't just have vigor, proxy and 2-6% extra resources..... Just because you worked for it once. It's an MMO.... However tedious, annoying or boring a new toon grind may be to us PvP'ers for extra racial or class bonuses etc... .that stuff has to be worked for. That's part of the game being a game, it's the same reason why pvp'ers have to pve and vice versa. Some may say racial bonuses shouldn't require that much work... I say if you are someone who hits 16k wrecking blows with 2k regen and you want 2.2k regen and 1500 stam for hitting a melee attack every 3 seconds.... You should have to work for that. Honestly, the grind... Although annoying... Is pretty easy.
Ok, now onto the initial AP conundrum. AP hasn't been worth anything since the level cap was v14. Is it in anyway detrimental if players can bank and transfer it on their accounts? No, not particularly, other than the "reward" of those who have a lot of ap because they worked hard on that one toon. My biggest gripe with account wide AP is this game doesn't have many elements where people have to "work" for anything, and it is my opinion that this as well as other in game changes are proliferating the continued watering down of ESO.
Continuing down the path of everything available to everyone, trust me I would love to try out an AR 50 stam redguard templar with surprise attack, dragon leap, streak ambush crit surge and steel tornado..... Or some high elf magicka equivalent of that.... But I'd likely quit after that day.
Races, undaunted, AR, classes, these are all things that add a little salt to to this other wise boiled chicken of a game. Faction wide AP a real problem? No. But it's another step in an increasingly dangerous direction. Then again...... This is all my opinion.
