I'm currently leveling a Stam dk dps/ tank and having trouble with my attributes. I plan want to go sword and shield one bar and dual wield back bar with the intention of tanking in groups but I don't know how much health to aim for at low levels like (15 - 20) or what to sleuth my attributes.

Hmm just to be clear, when you say dps/tank, do you mean a character than can easily switch between a DD ans Tank role ?
Or do you mean a tank than can assist with a bit of DPS ?

Now, I honestly think at low level, nothing really matters because everything works.

For leveling my tanks, I usually put all my attribute points in the resource I'm interested in, have a gear with +resource for dps/leveling, and a gear with health glyphs if I tank in dungeons.

For you, maybe you could put 2 points in health, one point in stamina, every 3 level ? So you will have enough health for tanky situations, and still have a bit of stamina.
And I advise using food buff (even stolen white food is better than nothing) and switch between Lord/Tower mundus if you need more health or stamina.
What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I’m stranded somewhere without any pants.

    I second this.

Even in endgame levels you don't need to have any attribute points in health as long as your enchantments are health.

And by having all your attribute points into stamina you can easily switch from tank to dps just by equipping a second set of gear.

So the solution is: have two sets:
Heavy with health enchants for tanking Medium with stam enchants for dps

Thanks. Tanking is like the one thing I'm not familiar with. I appreciate the insight.
