Resto Staff Channeled Heavy

Just a quick question...

Is the restoration staff's heavy attack when you hold down R2 and it "booms" so to say, at the end of its hit?

I have the passive skill that regens magicka per heavy attack and just trying to clarify that I'm doing it right...

Currently if you hold down the basic attack weapon button with a restoration staff equipped while *not* facing a proper target, energy will swirl around it and it will make either a "huSHHHHHHHH" or a "wooSHURRRRRRRR" sound. That means you have the right button selected.

If you hold down the basic weapon attack button long enough while aiming at an enemy, it will be a heavy attack. A full resto staff heavy attack lasts two seconds. Try finding a simple, weak mob and just hold down the weapon attack button without letting up. You will see the beam from your staff hit the target for two seconds, pause for half a second, and hit the target again to start a new attack all while holding that button. That should give you a feel for heavy attacks.

Now, holding it for the whole two seconds is what is known as a "fully charged" heavy attack, which sometimes is required for some gear set or passive bonuses and what not. If the bonus you want is just for "heavy attacks" and not "fully charged heavy attacks", you can hold the attack button for more like 1/2 to 3/4 of a second and it still counts.

For the Cycle of Life passive under Restoration Staff, it only says "heavy attack" not "fully charged heavy attack", so you can get the bonus by holding the attack for 1/2 to 3/4 second. This lets you weave that heavy attack in with a spammable ability on your bar to get more magicka back while doing more damage.
