Want to do a vet dungeon but don't know where to start? Ask me how ;)

I've been growing increasingly bored of roflstomping most content with my friends lately so I thought bringing new people into this might add some fun:) I used to be a solo-only player til I met some friends and realized just how fun dungeons could be. I evolved from very casual(I made my main Breton sorc purely because I thought breton matched the appearance of a book char I wanted her to look like best and it wasn't until MUCH later I realized I've actually made a good choice, minimaxing wise ) to...I guess pretty hardcore and I have a lot of friendly and helpful people and their advices to thank for helping me learn and get better.

Would you like to try a vet dungeon, but are(like I used to be in my time) new/solo/casual, don't know how to go about it and have issues finding a team? Let's try to get one together! Truth be told, most content is faceroll easy now as you learn the mechanics(or how to bypass them ) and I looooove explaining mechanics.
My ingame @ name is Magdalina777, I play PC NA and main a sorc dps on EP; I also have an AD templar healer(who needs her gear updated but she still does fine for while I'm farming Spellpower Cure on my WGT #84275642>.<). I'll run any (vet) dungeon with you(including WGT and ICP) and I'll do my best to help you get through it, learn something on the way and just have fun:)

P.S. Not sure anyone's even gonna be interested in that but gotta try to make it fun somehow XD

EDIT: As of June 2016, offer no longer stands. I see no reason to run dungeons or play this game anymore with the course of action ZOS is taking. Good luck everyone.

What a good idea. I may take you up on this. I've done nothing but solo PvE and lots of PvP but I'd like to get more into group content. And there is enough going on that it's a bit confusing.

Good luck wish I could help out lately I have been failing vet dungeons a lot you really can't pug them...

Just don't explain the mechanics like the differently geared do

Hahahaha I try not to(explain like that) I do try to stay chill like they do though:) And it depends really, pugged 2 people for vet WGT the other day, went surprisingly well. It mostly depends on whether people can listen or not really. There're not many hard dps/tanking/healing checks out there right now, mostly just some things in ICP/WGT.

There are some amidst the vast sea of ***, not saying I am my skills are probably not up to snuff yet but I will usually take anyone through a dungeon.

Thanks for this! Might take you up on this. I mistakenly thought vet dungeons were more or less like group dungeons, but there seems to more easily annoyed players in vet dungeons. I play Templar class and the people I've recently played with get seriously really annoyed when a) their health bar isn't full b) I die, then they have to resurrect me or c) we all die because 'its not that hard to understand the boss wtf' kind of rage.

I just made vet level 1 last week and probably could use a few tips on how to do a vet dungeon. Just, wow, are vet dungeons always this full on serious?!

Dungeons are cross-faction now, right? So hypothetically you could team up with somebody from DC?

@Artis, yes I could Been teaming up with my cross faction friends a lot lately, feels really good to finally be able to do that haha.

Nice to see this thread not completely forgotten, especially in light of ZOS' apparent incoming nerf to IC and CoA dungeons in DB DLC

My offer still stands for anyone who needs it. My timezones do unfortunately make grouping up with US-timezones people a bit problematic but can always try.

@GeoSand, old post, for some reason I didn't see it but will still comment. Nah not always, depends on group. Problem is a lot of people just have this dungeons on farm now(especially when it's the daily pledge) and want them done asap, and when suddenly people are not up to it(which is understandable being there for the first time) some people tend to get...upset. You should probably let them know at the start it's your first run there so they at least know what to expect, or just run with guildies/friends who won't be that impatient.

I finally hopped into a group someone in my guild was running when they were one short. I don't know where vet banished cells for gold key fits in the difficulty scale for a first dungeon, but the advice to run with a guild group and be plain about how much you don't know is good advice. Last boss took a few tries to do with 3 daedroths still standing, but we did it. A pickup group at ICP a few days later went not very well, but I think group dungeons are going to be an addiction.

That's awesome!:) Glad to hear you finally got to do a dungeon, sorry we're never on at the same time XD
BC is rather easy(though not THE easiest, Wayrest Sewers gets that title) but still not bad for the first time. Glad you enjoyed it And yes ICP pugs can be very painful lol.

If you are still doing this then I would love to do a dungeon, apart from 1 I did when I was level 10 about a year ago with guildmates (guild died since then) I have avoided them because I am not any of the required roles for dungeons and I don't really know how do them
