Why banned for buying and selling nirn?

Yes, and that possible issue may be revisited. Provided that it has any legitimacy.

The supposed ban for "nirn monopolization" has thus far been nothing more than a supposed rumor. I may be willing to believe there was a ban, but it is far more likely that it resulted from exploits or gold selling.

I believe the reason this person was banned and playing the markets are two totally different issues.

I see people in guild chat all the time saying, "time to drive up the price of x."

As far as playing the market goes, people who buy up lower priced goods and attempt to raise the global price are only able to charge what the market can bear or they lose money. Its not like they are buying up resources and destroying them.

If people who have millions in the bank are so disgruntled by this type of behavior than they should do the opposite. Start a charity trade guild where you buy goods at the market value and sell for lower prices. Let me know how long that works out for you.

Another point for those people who want an auction house. If its so easy, supposedly, for a person to travel around and buy up vast amounts of materials and relist at higher prices, then I'm pretty sure its easy for you to find what you need at the current market value.

When the buying and selling of goods, anywhere, is forever replaced by born again hunter/gatherer groups...then we can all hold hands and sing the coke song. Oh wait...
