How Champion Points and 12 day cap on enlightenment is destroying my interest in playing the game.

@aLi3nZ that is great when you play as a solo experience, however, when you play yo be competitive, you need a certain amount of points (though not really 501). This is where the need to grind stems from.

1) You dont seem to want to play. You seem to want to leave and come back in 3 or 4 months when bored of your other game, and be on par with everyone. MMOs with quarterly DLC dont work like that. with or without the enlightenment system

2). Your understanding of the CP catach up system although better than most ignores changes to level cap affecting the XP requirements. and how much XP it would take one of those 1,800 CP players to even earn 1 CP as it stands (something like 1.5 million XP)

the system is to bridge the console/PC gap and new player/existing player gap. So they can make content that is suitably challenging for the existing CP capped players without being impossible for others.

3) You don't need enlightenment uncapped and catch up. Else the player who is dedicated and stuck with the game through thick and thin for half a year is no better off. The system is there to Catch Up. not to remain on par with just because you had an account since day one.
