Remove levels

How exactly do they scale difficulty with zones without levels? Or would every level be the same? This sounds like a way to alienate most of the game population.

I'd imagine it would scale off equipment, unlocked skills and player skill (vs. AI). Again, the rework required for this change is enormous and impossible, but it would open up Tamriel tremendously. I'm not one of the players who plays 'to get stronger' or 'to unlock achievement', I play to experience fun content, and while I agree that some progression is good to learn the ropes, I'm all for accessibility and freedom of go wherever.

But removing levels just ain't gonna happen, as the OP is fully aware of.

Do like some other games do, and offer Instant Max Max level Crown Store thing. As far I know WoW uses one.

If you truly wish this to be in game, then I'm sorry but you may be better off playing WOW. If they ever add that then I am most certainly leaving for good.

I support this myself, population is low, we all know it, if we get more endgame players thats only good, dungeons are empty, trials are empty, EU has only one active Cyrodil Campaign etc. ESO is walking on thin ice so to speak.

I just got grand idea. What if they offered Free to Play Endgame offer. Thats after Zen have polished their endgame. Endgame is exactly where we need more players, not the journey. That'd solve all endgame queue/population problems once for all. Then you would need to buy upgrade or the game if you wish to see more of Tamriel.

But you do want to remove the choice to do it multiple times.

Since the only things that achievements uniquely unlock are dyes, and those are already shared across an account... why remove the possibility of doing achievements on a character-by-character basis just to provide what is, primarily, a cosmetic change?

False. Achievements uniquely unlock titles, which is what people really want when they say "make achievements account wide". But, if we're cool with cosmetic changes being account wide, then titles should be account wide. That way people who like to use achievements for character progression can do so, and those who would like access to titles they already unlocked can have them.

Can't wait to hear how me wearing boethia's scythe on my alt ruins gameplay.

Battle leveling for pve content defeats the idea of progression. Remove CP

Wait, you want to make this change... because of titles. So that your level 3 newbie can wander around proclaiming that they completed vDSA...

You have an absolutely cast-iron, rock-solid, not-to-be-denied reason for altering the way that the achievement system works... and it is to gain access to two words to be placed above your character's head...

You won't hear me suggest that having that title will ruin gameplay... I am actually lost for words.

Actually I wanted it for my v16 nightblade. That being said, explain to me how a level 3 wearing boethia's scythe ruins gameplay? Is it overpowered? They could probably nerf the title to have only one word if that's your concern. That'd probably reduce the pvp lag that will be caused by all the extra characters wearing the title. I really hope you find your words :)

Now if we're going to be serious, if your concern is level I'd gladly restrict titles to being shared between vet rank/max level characters. Considering gear, which is something that ACTUALLY has an impact on gameplay, is shared between characters even if only one character has obtained it, I don't see how titles are unreasonable. Keep achievements separated for progression purposes, but allow titles to be shared like dyes and gear.

Only allow 1 character creation per account. That will solve half the "waa waa" issues with the game.

    or

As soon as a person creates a character, they get a message "Yay! You win", and then unlock everything.

    PvP solution:

Make it where every character appears to win the fight. That way all PvP players will think they are *** zerg killers.

If you want a friend, get a dog.
AW Rank: Grand Warlord 1 ( level 49)

And why not? The game could exist just fine with skill/gear progression alone, without any levels, ranks or CPs whatsoever.
Besides, in PvE, either instances scale to player's level or player's level scales to open world zone, and in PvP likewise player's level scales to zone's level, so wtf?

You're wrong. People will still qq about nightblades and sorc shields

You forgot the QQ about Templars and how ZoS doesn't care about them. Let's remove them too.

Based on all the QQ threads about making everything account wide, it seems nobody actually want to play this game anymore, so why keep levels? Why not just let everyone start at v16 with 501 CP and emperor status, then maybe we might finally get rid of the QQ...

    Your sarcasm is well appreciated here. :}
