Best solo pvp class

Hey all,

Om looking for the best solo pvp class and race, im going to start over on another faction and my main focus Will be leveling in pvp.
Im looking for Some advice.

Its either NB or Sorc.
For NB you can go either stam or magicka, for sorc I suggest magicka.

The reason is escapes and kiting potential.

Sorc has bolt escape for kiting and escaping, altho its not as good as it used to be, it can still be used moderately ok if you have other means of keeping speed up while kiting/escaping.

NB has cloak and shadow image to kite and escape and generally cause confusion on the battlefield and are probably the best solo class in the game.

Altmer Mag Sorc.

That sounds like every ganking nightblade.

Its either LOTUS FAN LOTUS FAN LOTUS FAN, AMBUSH AMBUSH AMBUSH or SURPRISE ATTACK SURPRISE ATTACK SURPRISE ATTACK. Sometimes then might switch it up and get a really complicated combo out timed to absolute perfection like AMBUSH SURPRISE ATTACK SURPRISE ATTACK SURPRISE ATTACK. Or if they really want to get technical a FEAR gets thrown in.

Usually at my end I'm jamming my triggers and nothing is happening.

Don't nerf nightblades, just delete the class please zos.

I'd say NB would be the best solo class due to the continued Sorc nerfs but the whole solo Meta isn't what it used to be outside of horse ganking and stealth-ganking bads. If you like to play solo you'll spend 95% of the time spent fighting 4+ players at once. It's rare to even get a decent 1 v 2 these days. PvP these days is just zerg swarm, stack on crown and faceroll your way to Grand Overlord. I don't see many players solo or in groups smaller than 6 these days.

For a new player in this game who never had a chance to hone their skills in small man combat I would not suggest attempting solo play unless you like to be frustrated.

I play solo, and i get Zerged, all the time by like 50-100 AD.... it's a sad Life Ezareth, it's a sad life

Anyways to answer OP's questions, i vote sorc. It's more entertaining to play than nightblade. when i tried playing nightblade i found myself sitting there hitting 1 and occasionally 2 keys, way too much spam for me.

I find it way easier to solo with Nightblade than with mag sorc those days, both because its easier to escape (BE nerfed af) and easier to kill (more raw damages, not countered by reflects). Considering I have 10 times more /played on my nb than on my sorc, my opinion might be biased tho.
For races, sorc=altmer all the way, for nightblade depends if you wanna play stamina or magicka (both are as good for solo). If you're not sure or want to be able to switch, I would say bosmer, if you want to play magicka only altmer and stamina only bosmer or redguard.

its like every class plays - don´t see a difference in ambush + SA spam by a NB vs invasion + HS from a DK (like Yuke).
we all have only 10 ability slots (beside sorcs overload addition) every melee requires a gap closer, a spamable dmg ability and a few utility options so the difference is marginal especially in terms of stamina classes.

* Until buffing up is required pretty much

Hint: one of these 2 rotations can't be pulled of by a majority of players.

This is pretty much true

Basically, it doesn't really matter, outside of a few things any class can solo these days as long as you're willing to kite people as much as it takes to win and can find potato to keep chasing. That being said, imo, Stam NB, Mag NB, Mag Sorc in that order for solo play. While mag sorc has more burst and better defense than Magblade, both NB builds have shadow image + cloak which is invaluable for escaping bad situation/positioning and doesn't just ruin your magika pool like streak

I think that's a possible contender TBH. I saw Poliwrath on TF more than holding his own before he was Emp and was impressed with both his damage and survivability against multiple opponents. But you pretty much have to nut-hug a rock or a tree somewhere because in the open field with no LoS a StamDK is dead meat.

Lowpolicy and Hiesenberg(however he has his name spelled) are two other great examples of Stam DKs that can solo well.

Though like you said, they gotta nut-hug stuff for LoS or roll dodge into never ever land. Not trashing on them, just the way of the game at the moment, I do the same.

Altmer Magicka Sorc

High burst, more to it than ambush spam(NB), and the hardened ward allows you to make more mistakes than other magicka classes. You're also heavily susceptible to shieldbreaker and reflects though, but you will still be difficult to kill if you know how to shieldstack (the basis of the class in pvp). It's a fun way to play and powerful before Wrobel rebalances the whole game, in which case hopefully every class will be equally viable with stamina/magicka.

As a side note, what is the worst class in pvp? Magicka DK, Stamina Templar, Magicka Templar, a Stamina class without using the Two Handed skill line... I'm creating a Templar and am having trouble deciding on magicka, stamina, or hybrid.
