just wondering why you need more character slots though you can make a stam build and a magicka build for every class. could you tell me why you could use more ^^

For starters, some people LOVE making a ton of new characters to play with every now and down. There's also RP characters, low-level equivalents of higher level characters to re-experience low level content/play with new friends/non-veteran campaign. Another BIG reason - characters to play on other alliances with.
Oh and don't forget, there's 10 races to choose from for each class. And multiple roles.. Tank/DD/Healer (PvE wise), re-specialising all of the time is a a HUGE pain.

All things on the "Maybe" list. They would make a ton of money from crowns if they offered these. But like any ZOS decision, they have to take a year to deliberate and let people get tired of the game and quit first before they implement it.

Yeah... I just read somewhere that this was coming out for Q1 as we've already been asking for this since 2014... I get it, it'll take up even more server space, but if you charge us 2500 crowns per additional character slot (a reasonable fee?) we would be paying over the amount to sustain ZOS affording even a an addition to the server space for these additional characters? I'm not Mr IT guy but would just like an honest rough estimate on ZOS' part as to the approximate cost of crowns so I can save this amount. If they could offer a bonus 'you'll have them by the end of 2016,' this would be awesome. @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom any insight available? Thanks!

Sure, but new money is more money, but regardless, I don't care who gains the most benefit, just seeing as we're restricted I just wish they'd loosen this, I mean, what else can we do, roll the other server? On my way to NA!

yes but this means it's a win-win situation to implement it.
they get money/crowns from the community.
community stays longer interessed in game and might/will buy more items in the future in the crownstore

Because they want you to foolishly use up the crowns you have now on the crap they already have in the cash shop. Which is why they will never tell us WHEN anything is going to arrive either.

Edit: I believe this is the video, haven't checked.

My name is Hamfast and I am an altaholic... as I see little to spend crowns on so another slot or six would be a good way to feed my addiction...
10 races, 4 classes, 2 sexes and an average of say 4 builds per class... so how many crowns for 320 character slots?

Probably too long ago in the programming and 'ain't nobody got time for that!'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Re72di5phM0
heheh... but seriously... it's insane they don't have this... why ANY MMO wouldn't include this as a core function is beyond me.
Hey All,
So we've been informed that they will bring buy-able additional character slots for crowns in the future (in Q1?), does anyone know how many crowns these character slots will cost? Have any details been released or could we be given an outline figure? An answer sooner rather than later would be amazing considering there are other things to spend crowns allowances on at this very moment and sooner before this feature is implemented I'm sure.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
