I think I know why MMOs are not meant for consoles...

i disagree there are enough people playing hard games on console just look at the old ninja gaiden and the darksouls series

You "disagree there are enough people playing hard games on console"? Try some punctuation so your sentence doesn't mean the opposite of what you want it to say.

Demon's Souls is a definitely a good example. Did well enough to have the Dark Souls sequel, and that did well enough to port to PC.

The Xbone doesn't mess up if its unplugged/all of a sudden shut off and replugged in somewhere else.

Must be a playstation problem.

Granted since Ark survival evolved is out on xbox one now, ESO has taken a hit.

Game is much better, fun and more populated on console (xbox atleast) if it wasnt i'd still be on my PC.

Only thing thats missing is a chat box and character names.

FFXIV, better on console.

DCUO, better on console.

Maybe its matter of opinion but I have all the options available to me and I know what I prefer.

Why cant you replace it? I put one in my ps3 years ago myself and I am mechanically inept. I just ordered a new drive ($80) and switched them out by myself. I upgraded to a ps4 a while ago but my ps3 STILL works just fine. I am talking about the drive that spins the disk, not the laser that reads it. Is your issue with the laser?

For that reason, I prefer PC. Online players annoy me, especially when they're messing around in the same areas as me, or aggravating enemies right into me without warning. If I could download the whole thing as a SP game with co-op ability, I would.

just wna make this clear xbox one isn't like that I unplug mine now and then and transfer it from one room to another and it never breaks... ps4 must be made cheap... ijs invest in an xbox or if you can or like using a mouse and keyboard all the time unless playing a game( via controller) get a pc bleh haha

How do you even sell stuff to other players? Announce you're looking for an itema nd want to buy? Shout in zone that there is a zerg heading to Fare? Say you're looking for a guild? Whisper someone?

well see without text chat this game is lacking as an mmo. best to look at it as a single player game with odd acting npcs that you can interact with voice. Some games however, do in fact have a text chat. This allows a more fluid game play for mmo. but at current if you just think of it as a solo game its not so bad haha

Just for clarification sake. So can the PS4. Based on the OP statements what seems to have happened is they powered down, then went to unplug the PS4 and inadvertently turned it on again. Then pulled the actual power cord while the system was booting up. This can cause damage to a PC, PS4, or XBOX. It's has nothing to do with being cheaply made, frankly both consoles are cheaply made. That is the fate of most mass produced consumer electronics.

My PS4 sits in the shadow of my PC. It's sole purpose is Netflix and Blurays.

How do you accidently turn it on when the plug is in the back and the button is in the front? Honestly, this isnt the PS4s fault or Sonys fault. This is your clumsy unattentive selves fault.
