yeah but the only time I ever watched his twitch he was complaining about healers and said he wanted them nerfed even more therefor only making DPS a thing in PvP and possibly PvE. if it wasn't for that I would agree with this statement.

He´s right though. Imho all heals should have a line of sight check.

The heal he was complaining about was grand healing (most likely a morph) a ground AOE heal that you have to aim and one of the weakest heals, especially in a group of 4 or less (I think the number he was fighting was 4) if he wants THAT nerfed... The point is I can't support ANYONE who wants DPS to be the only thing thats viable in this game period the gap is already bad enough we have roles for a reason yet other than the fun value why are there so few tanks especially those that can tank well? Plus heals have a counter, defile and it is the only role counter strengthened by CPs and he knows it.

With AoE cap damage is random, heals are always on the lowest healthed.
These combined mean, when attacking a ball, your damage will be going all over the place, only sometimes hitting those with low health. Then the healer is constantly healing the low healthed individuals.
Essentially making any damage done to those not being a lowered health individual means the damage is worthless.
So only 6 of a group will take full damage from AoE, these people will be healed, the next AoE will not damage them (more than likely) allowing them to recover as the healer now heals the new lower healthed people.
Without the ability to focus damage (or conversely the ability to focus heals) combined with AoE cap makes a ball very very hard to kill.
This gives a huge advantage to the ball.
