It's a cool idea, but there's just one problem: Argonians and Khajiit don't actually have tails. What you see is just a mechanical pin-on tail that systematically moves based on the wearers movements.
At first I thought they were real tails too. But closer observation to beast race skeletons evidences that these are indeed fake tails.
