Thank you for your business. lmao
Another solution would be to have anything left in the container (and this would include chests because yep, they function exactly the same way - if someone doesn't take everything out of a chest, it sits there until someone comes along and does so) after it's been accessed be deleted so the container will despawn appropriately and can then respawn.
I also confess to being completely baffled that people aren't using auto-loot. The idea of having to take the time to individually loot every resource node? OMG, people, WHY? Why would you do that? Even before I bought a lot of inventory space, I used auto-loot. It's one of the first things I turn on in any game I play. I sort through stuff after I get back to a town, not while I'm out exploring or questing.

This may be a misconception that is taken for granted b/c someone just came up behind someone else that took only the "good part" of the node. Has anyone ever been able to leave a garbage node sit long enough to actually see if it respawns. Due to so many other farming players, it may be next to impossible. BTW nodes do not respwan in random locations. If you farm a node then wait long enough it will respawn in the same location. And no, I don't leave behind bait when I farm nodes. Actually quite the opposite, I clean them up. I just never thought it was this big a deal.

It's kind of amazing some people still haven't turned auto-loot on. Like, why? Just destroy the worms after you auto-loot a stack, sheesh.
Ok slightly off-topic perhaps - but the deal with the crazy worm prices? It's 100x easier to get guts or crawlers and then use the fishing spots inland for the perfect roe.
The worms are bought by people trying to farm the angler achievement rather than the folks farming roe. Anyone farming the roe using worms is nuts!
THIS JUST IN!
(I had to go find out for myself one way or another, I like facts)
& Yes, the node with only crawlers/worms disappears itself after five minutes.
Is it a jerk move? maybe.
Is it Evil Incarnate? no.

Well, for those who don't think bait is worth much, I can confirm that I have on numerous occasions paid 3,000 gold for a stack of worms or guts. (I can't bear to kill the little animals that give guts, they make such sad lil squeaks and it makes me sad).
